Description
The Power 8ft x 12ft Security Apex Shed will be an exceptionally safe, dry and spacious place to store all your tools, garden equipment and valuable domestic goods.
One of the shed's outstanding features is that it can be customized in several ways. A single door is fitted as standard but this can be exchanged for double doors, hinges can be on either side so that it opens to the left or right, and you can choose whether the entry is from the front or back of this sturdy and solidly built structure.
Security is provided by a 5 pin cylinder lock with 50mm bolt. This has a solid brass escutcheon plate and can be operated from the inside of the shed as well as outside. The hinges and other ironmongery are galvanized so that they are rust-resistant and anti-vandal screws are supplied to replace normal hinge screws.
Weatherproof shiplap tongue & groove cladding will repel any rainwater and only warp-resistant Scandinavian timber is used to build the shed. The wood is dip treated in a water-based preservative whose special formula contains wax, so no further preservative treatment is needed for at least a year, saving you time and expense.
The shed's strength owes much to 44mm x 28mm framing, all the panels are screwed together and corner braces keep the building rigid. Just as sturdy and durable are the floor and roof which is waterproofed by bitumen saturated felt reinforced by a polyester lining to prevent it from tearing.
Inside the dry interior, there's a generous amount of headroom due to the tall apex roof and light is provided by six toughened glass windows with internal beading, these are placed high up on one side so that the shed's contents remain out of view.
You can be assured that all the wood that's used in the shed's construction is sustainably supplied from managed forests. Because of its natural characteristics gained from growing slowly in northern Europe, there's a ten-year guarantee against decay or rot.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver this product range to the Republic of Ireland due to carrier restrictions.
Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
