Description
Uncommonly long and slender, the Power 4ft x 20ft Apex Shed will be the perfect fit for certain sites and can be configured in a variety of ways to suit your preferences and location.
Substantially built from slow-grown Scandinavian timber, known for its strength and durable characteristics, all the wood comes from managed forests and has been dip treated with a specially formulated preservative that contains wax. This doesn't prevent the shed from being painted but no further preservative is needed for a year.
A single door, hinged on either side according to your preference, offers easy access but can be replaced by double doors. A key lock offers security and the hinges, together with other ironmongery, are galvanized to resist unsightly rust that also adversely affects their longevity.
No less than ten windows allow light to flood into the interior. The toughened glass window panes have PVC sills and are internally beaded so that water doesn't seep through. If the shed is used mainly for storage, you may not want any windows, just a dry and spacious interior.
Great strength is added to the shed by heavy-duty 44mm framing which, with the panels screwed together and the presence of corner braces to increase rigidity, will prevent damage caused by high winds and other bad weather. A series of trusses are also installed so that the roof doesn't sag over time.
The shed's cladding is both attractive and effective, shiplap tongue & groove panels are designed to repel rainwater and the floor and roof also benefit from this hardwearing weatherproof style. Traditional roofing felt is saturated with bitumen so that it is waterproof but can still breathe, it also has a polyester lining so that rippling and tearing shouldn't be a problem.
If you are locating this impressive shed, which is guaranteed for ten years, on soil, grass or gravel, a matching base kit is a popular choice, and shelving is another accessory that will come in handy and can be cut to any desired length.

Inclusive delivery is to mainland areas only and excludes offshore islands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man/Wight and Guernsey/Jersey. Delivery to these areas will incur an additional delivery charge quoted upon ordering. In all instances please contact us today for a personalised quote.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver this product range to the Republic of Ireland due to carrier restrictions.
Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
