Description
The long narrow design of a Power 4ft x 18ft Security Apex Shed is an unusual shape but very useful if a location has particular constraints or the potential contents have uncommon demands.
All the contents are protected by a 5 pin cylinder lock which contains a 50mm bolt and can be operated from both sides of the door with the three keys that are supplied. It has a solid brass escutcheon plate and the galvanized, rust-resistant, hinges can be fitted with anti-vandal screws.
Access can be customized to suit your personal preferences, the single door can be fitted at either end and hinged on the left or right. You can also choose to have double doors installed.
Once inside, you'll find ample headroom due to the high apex roof and there are eight windows glazed with toughened glass, these are high up along one side to ensure that everything inside is still hidden from view.
Substantial 44mm x 28mm framing reinforces the shed, there are also corner braces to ensure that it stays structurally rigid, and panels are screwed together to further increase its strength and resistance to high winds and bad weather.
The shed's cladding, as well as the floor and roof, consists of weatherproof shiplap tongue & groove Scandinavian timber which has an attractive appearance but is also highly durable and warp-resistant. It is sustainably sourced and dip-treated in an advanced water-based preservative containing wax.
In the first year no further preservative is required but painting the shed is an option if you so wish. The roof is covered by waterproof bitumen infused felt that has a tear-resistant lining, this will ensure that the interior and everything inside remains dry.
Because only top-grade timber is used in the shed's construction and the specially formulated preservative has enhanced its natural characteristics, a ten-year guarantee will give you peace of mind that no rotting or decay will occur during the shed's long life.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver this product range to the Republic of Ireland due to carrier restrictions.
Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
