Description
The Power 4ft x 16ft Security Apex Shed is designed to fit into a narrow restricted space or accommodate tools and equipment that are unable to fit into a traditionally proportioned structure.
For ease of access, the single door can be installed at either end and hinged on the right or left, double doors can be fitted if you prefer, and the hinges, door pull and other ironmongery are all galvanized to prevent rust.
Everything inside is protected by a 5 pin cylinder lock which can be operated from both sides of the door and has a 50mm bolt. A solid brass escutcheon plate is fitted and three keys are supplied. For more security, you can choose to fit hinges with anti-vandal screws.
Such a robust shed naturally has impressive 44mm x 28mm framing, and the shed's rigid profile is maintained by the presence of corner braces. Adding to this sturdiness are panels that are screwed together to double their strength.
Shiplap tongue & groove cladding is perfect for this shed, the floor and roof are similarly appointed with this attractive, weatherproof and warp-resistant timber that has been sustainably sourced from Scandinavia and then dip treated using specially formulated preservative.
No further application of preservatives is required during the first year but you can paint the shed if this is your preference. Bitumen saturated roofing felt with a polyester backing ensures that the roof is waterproof so that the interior and all its contents remain dry
Because of the high apex roof, there's certainly plenty of headroom inside the shed and eight discrete toughened glass and internally beaded windows that are placed high up on one side allow useful light into the interior.
Due to the excellent quality timber that has been used to build this shed and the advanced preservative that has enhanced its durable qualities, the manufacturer's are able to offer a ten-year guarantee against rot or decay occurring.

Inclusive delivery is to mainland areas only and excludes offshore islands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man/Wight and Guernsey/Jersey. Delivery to these areas will incur an additional delivery charge quoted upon ordering. In all instances please contact us today for a personalised quote.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver this product range to the Republic of Ireland due to carrier restrictions.
Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
