Description
The Power 16ft x 4ft Security Pent Shed is designed to accommodate tools and equipment that won't fit into a traditionally proportioned building or if the location demands a long narrow structure.
Being able to configure the shed will certainly help, the single door can be installed at the front or rear and galvanized, rust-free, hinges fitted on the left or right. If you prefer the type of access that double doors offer, these are another alternative.
All the contents will be protected by a 5 pin cylinder lock, you can operate this from both sides and it contains a 50mm bolt. Three keys are supplied and the lock has a solid brass escutcheon plate. In addition, anti-vandal screws can be used to fit the door hinges.
It's natural that such a substantial shed will have thick 44mm x 28mm framing and its rigidity is maintained by corner braces. To double their strength, all panels are screwed together.
Shiplap tongue & groove cladding is ideal to create a weatherproof structure and it is also used for the floor and roof. Scandinavian timber is used throughout, it's sustainably sourced, durable and warp-resistant, and these qualities are enhanced by dip treating the wood in a specially formulated preservative.
It will be a year before any further preservative needs to be applied and, if you prefer, the shed can be painted. To ensure the roof is waterproof, it is covered in bitumen saturated premium felt with a polyester backing to prevent rippling and tearing.
Due to the high roof, there is lots of headroom inside the shed and eight windows placed high up allow through useful light. These are glazed with toughened glass, internally beaded, and, because of their positioning, everything inside the shed stays out of sight.
As only excellent quality dip treated timber is used to build this well-appointed and highly adaptable shed, a guarantee of ten years against rot and decay is offered by the manufacturers.

Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
