Description
This Lifetime 7 x 4.5 ft garden shed offers a dry and spacious environment for your household items and gardening essentials.
Made using high quality HDPE (high density polyethylene) to create a double walled structure based around a powder coated steel frame with added reinforcements, this is a low maintenance structure that won't rot or decay.
Each Lifetime 7ft wide shed has several useful features, including a skylight that runs the entire length of the roof to maximize natural lighting, shelves, and vents to encourage air circulation.
Also included are single hinged double doors with a button catch mechanism that open nearly 180 degrees and a slip resistant polyethylene floor.
Overall and nominal measurements may be rounded up to nearest cm/ft/inch and may include any roof overhang.
The shed must be built on a flat surface, for example, a patio, decking, slabbed or concrete area, in each corner of your flooring will be a slight indentation on the cupper surface of the floor, this is designed so that you can drill through it to secure it to the foundation. Assembly will take 2 adults approximately 3-4 hours to set up.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 10 - 15 working days (2 - 3 weeks) but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation Service
Our installation service is applicable to Mainland England, Wales & Southern Scotland including Glasgow and Edinburgh, but not above.
Products ordered with an installation service will first be delivered to your delivery address within the estimated timeframe stated above. Once delivery has been confirmed, the installation team shall then arrange to attend to your property in order to install the structure for you.
The current lead time for installation, following successful delivery is within 20 working days.
Note that this will lead to the product needing to be temporarily stored at your property after it has been delivered and checked over until the date the installation occurs. We recommend the product to be stored in a safe and dry place such as in a garage, shed, or similar during this interlude period.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Great shed and service
The shed has been assembled for approx. 2 months. It is well crafted, easy to assemble by 2 adults and appears to be strong and completely waterproof. We are very happy with it. The service from the company was excellent; we had a landscape gardener who messed us around a lot by postponing the work to create a concrete base for us 5 times, yet the company were happy to keep the shed in storage for us and delay the delivery date. They were great!

Excellent for storage
I wanted this to use just for storage as I have another of the same company's larger sheds for DIY. The plastic is stronger than you might think and it's quite light inside. Easy to get in and out, no rain leaks, fairly secure, just what I want really to store my garden tools over winter. One bit of advice, read all the instructions first and then start and you'll find assembly simple enough.

The Right Size for the Job!
This is pretty close to the size I ideally wanted so was surprised to find it available. Looks good where I put it. Needs a hard standing base to be sure. The colour blends well too.

Can the doors on this Lifetime shed be padlocked as on the 7ft x 7ft version?
We Replied:Dear Marie Thank you for your question. This shed comes with hinge doors that can be padlocked (padlock sold separately). The doors are fitted with a unique button catch opening mechanism and separate internal bolts allowing access to all your stored items through a double or single door opening. However, the opening mechanism isn't essentially a lock so would need to be padlocked for increased security.
