Description
Because it has a pent rather than apex roof, the front of this Overlap 8ft x 6ft Shed boasts plenty of headroom. There's an entrance on the longer side, and this configuration suits many gardens that may have restricted space.
A good size for storing a wide variety of the gear that you need for gardening and jobs about the house, the shed has a sturdy pressure treated board floor.
All the timber is from a sustainable source and everything inside will be kept safe and dry due to the weatherproof qualities of the square cut overlap softwood cladding and a sheet material roof that has a black sand felt covering.
The door is particularly strong, reinforced by 'Z' bracing and fitted with hidden hinges. It can be hung from either side and has a hasp & staple latch.
Two windows let a generous amount of light stream into the interior, the polycarbonate glazing is unbreakable and will not yellow or become brittle with age.
There's no need to treat the timber with preservative as it's already been pressure treated. This means that Forest can guarantee no rotting or fungal decay for at least 25 years.

If you have a concrete, slabbed or patio area prepared already, and wish to not heighten your new Forest structure off the ground, then it can be installed straight on top of your already prepared area, without the need for a base frame.

We offer fast and free delivery within mainland UK on our Forest sheds.
Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 5 working days for the majority of mainland UK locations (exclusions apply - see below for details). Delivery times may be extended during busy times of the year depending on the availability of delivery vehicles.
For the majority of mainland UK locations, Forest products are delivered to your home directly by the manufacturer. In this instance you will receive a message by phone or email with details to manually book in a chosen delivery date.
For limited areas of south east England, limited areas of the south west England, and Scotland, Forest products are delivered by a third party carrier. In this instance, the carrier will contact you directly to book a delivery date once your order is ready at their delivery centre.
- Deliveries to the below postcode areas can take up to 7 working days extra, on top of the advertised lead-time:

Installation
If you have purchased an installation service with us, available on selected Forest branded sheds, structures and buildings then this is completed after successful delivery of the product and is generally completed within 1 - 2 weeks following. After successful delivery, you will be contacted directly by the installers to book in an installation date. Please ensure that you have checked the delivery for all components and keep in a safe, dry place until the installation occurs.
Unfortunately, installation is not available to the following postcodes: BT1-BT99, GY1-GY9, HS1-HS9, IM1-IM9, IV41-IV56, JE1-JE5, KA27-KA28, KW15-KW17, PO30-PO41, PO49, TR21-TR25.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.

Right for the job
Very good customer service and easy ordering system. Easy to assemble according to son but he used longer screws for a more secure job but then he is a joiner. A bit rough on inside but it is a budget shed so ok for price. Colour is unobtrusive and fits in with rest of garden .. Very satisfied.

Is the boarded floor mentioned in the features section the same as the base which is offered as an optional extra?
We Replied:Dear Roger Thank you for your question. They are not the same. The shed comes with a boarded floor, the base option is something that would go underneath the shed if you wanted to create a level base on which to build the shed if you do not have an existing hard standing surface. The fixing pack mentioned in the instructions, does that come with the shed or is it extra?
We Replied:Dear Mark Thank you for your question. The fixing pack is included with the shed and includes all of the fixings and fixtures to install the shed including door hinges etc. A few tools are required for installing the shed at home though, including a drill, hammer, screwdrivers, tape measure and scissors.
