Description
6ft x 8ft is a very useful size for a shed, especially when there are double doors to make access, even with large items, exceptionally easy.
Lawn mowers, wheelbarrows and other hefty equipment can be safely stored in its confines. And this is also a shed that needn't just be for storage, there's plenty of light-filled space inside to cater for a workshop or hobby room.
The shed's attractive appearance will enhance your garden. Overlap timber is a mixture of softwoods that merge naturally with their surroundings. From a sustainable source, the timber has been pressure treated to resist rot and decay, it is guaranteed for 25 years even if you don't use preservative.
Everything inside the shed will be protected by excellent cladding and the sheet material roof with black sand felt. The floor is pressure treated board, hard wearing and very durable as is the whole of the building.
Polycarbonate glazing transmits an excellent amount of light, not yellowing or becoming brittle. Security screws are used to fit the two windows and the polycarbonate is unbreakable.
Security is very much to the fore when considering the doors that are 'Z' braced for strength. They have a hasp & staple latch and the hinges are hidden.

If you have a concrete, slabbed or patio area prepared already, and wish to not heighten your new Forest structure off the ground, then it can be installed straight on top of your already prepared area, without the need for a base frame.

We offer fast and free delivery within mainland UK on our Forest sheds.
Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 5 working days for the majority of mainland UK locations (exclusions apply - see below for details). Delivery times may be extended during busy times of the year depending on the availability of delivery vehicles.
For the majority of mainland UK locations, Forest products are delivered to your home directly by the manufacturer. In this instance you will receive a message by phone or email with details to manually book in a chosen delivery date.
For limited areas of south east England, limited areas of the south west England, and Scotland, Forest products are delivered by a third party carrier. In this instance, the carrier will contact you directly to book a delivery date once your order is ready at their delivery centre.
- Deliveries to the below postcode areas can take up to 7 working days extra, on top of the advertised lead-time:

Installation
If you have purchased an installation service with us, available on selected Forest branded sheds, structures and buildings then this is completed after successful delivery of the product and is generally completed within 1 - 2 weeks following. After successful delivery, you will be contacted directly by the installers to book in an installation date. Please ensure that you have checked the delivery for all components and keep in a safe, dry place until the installation occurs.
Unfortunately, installation is not available to the following postcodes: BT1-BT99, GY1-GY9, HS1-HS9, IM1-IM9, IV41-IV56, JE1-JE5, KA27-KA28, KW15-KW17, PO30-PO41, PO49, TR21-TR25.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.

This was a cheap shed and that shows
Many more parts than originally advised on website, as a result they are smaller so not so heavy, some sections not quite to size but have overcome the difficulties. takes some time to build.

Nice Shed, Good Size
This is a very well built shed that should make a good workshop. I liked the double doors and the fact that the wood is pressure treated, I'd rather be in there rebuilding my bike than spending time and money won wood preservative.

The pictures show the window panel fitted on the LH side when facing the door from the outside. Is it possible to fit it on the RH side as the LH side would be against a fence in my location?
