Delivery Information

Fast Free Delivery within Mainland England, Wales & Southern Scotland.

Delivery to Scotland is inclusive up to and including Glasgow and Edinburgh but not above. Scottish Highlands (highlands as deemed by the carrier) will incur a separate delivery charge - See full delivery options on the product page.

Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland or any other offshore island.

Delivery Period
All Borderstone products are made to order right here in the UK, on an order-by-order basis.

We aim to dispatch within 5 - 10 Working Days
Larger items including statues may take slightly longer as they are made to order. Timeframes may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.

Any cancellation of an order after your item has been crafted may incur in cancellation charges.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location as a "curb-side delivery" service. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Once the delivery has been unloaded from off the driver's van, the customer has 10 minutes in order to unwrap and check the delivery contents for any damages before signing for and accepting a successful delivery. Any damages should be reported to the driver within this time frame, as once the driver has left, any claims for damages may not be successful.

Delighted With This Product

We were looking for a Japanese style bench and found this online. All I can say is that it matched all our expectations and now looks a delight in our garden. The item came in three pieces and the delivery driver was extremely helpful in breaking down the pallet and taking each piece through to the garden for us. Excellent all round.

Very satisfied

We’re very happy with the bench. The delivery was fine the driver phoned before he called. It was very well packaged and in perfect condition. It was 98kg altogether but in three pieces so I was able to carry it through to the back garden no problem. It goes well with our Japanese garden and matches in with the plants and other ornaments.

Just what we wanted

Item arrived on time and in tact! So many products don’t. Looks lovely and goes very nicely next to my Acer tree and little bagoda. Big enough for two to sit for a while enjoying the sunshine (when we get some)!!! Wouldn’t hesitate using this company again. Just lovely.

Simply Stunning!

I recently lost my dear Mum and inherited her ‘Japanese Bridge and Stone Pagida’ I wanted to create a ‘Japanese Rememberance Garden’ and this beautiful ornate bench has complemented it beautifully! Oriental Stone Bench

This bench comes in three pieces, how is the top fixed to legs?

Dear Mike Thank you for your question. All of the bench just sits onto the legs. If you wish to attach them, you can do so with either an exterior silicone adhesive or a 4-1 mix of sand and cement. We would recommend using the silicone as it's easier to separate at a later date if you wish to relocate the bench. Dear Dorothy Thank you for your question. Generally, these items will be fine left outside by themselves no matter the weather with the rain naturally washing off any debris and dirt. However, if you find any excess dirt or discolouring after the Winter period, this can easily be removed with a bowl of warm soapy water and a sponge, to wipe over the surface.
