Description

The Biohort AvantGarde 2.5m by 3.3m Metal Shed will neatly fit into your garden, offering a storage space that will prove its worth over a long number of years.

Biohort offer a 20-year guarantee since the shed is constructed from high tensile hot-dipped galvanised steel that has three protective polyamide coatings to ensure that it is maintenance-free.

Threaded connections, hinges, brackets are not forgotten about. These are made from high-quality stainless steel to avoid tarnish and rust, and it is this attention to detail that sets the avantgarde range apart from cheaper alternatives.

Don't be put off by the shed's assembly, Biohort have developed an uncomplicated plug-in modular system involving as few screws as possible. Alternatively, why not choose to have the shed installed by experts?

Inside the shed, the first thing you'll notice is the two tool holders on the back of the door, these are designed for small tools. You'll also see a complete shelf set (2 shelf units, 4 brackets and 2 shelf support rails) and four tool hangers for garden tools, spades, hoses and similar.

To allow light into the shed there's an acrylic glass fanlight, and a gas spring damper keeps the door either open or closed. 

Security is a big issue, especially with high-value garden equipment being stolen, so every avantgarde shed has a three-way locking mechanism with a cylinder lock fitted as standard.

For those keen on recycling, rainwater can be collected by two fitted gutters with a 3/4inch hose connection. This rainwater will be on hand to refresh your plants who like it much better than tap water.

External sizes include roof overhangs. Sizes may have been rounded up/down to the nearest cm and ft/ins.

Delivery to Scotland is inclusive up to and including Glasgow and Edinburgh but not above. All IV; KW; PA; PH; KY; AB; DD and most of FK postcodes along with Highlands and Islands will incur a separate delivery charge. In some cases, we can even deliver outside the mainland e.g. Channel Isles and arrange the VAT element for you. Delivery Period
Delivery may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Contemporary Design, Robust Build

I ordered this in the silver colour as it fitted better with our contemporary house and garden. It is typical German style build quality that you just know will last. Lots of nice touches but overall very efficient design, which suits too. Delivery was longer than expected but they come straight from the factory so allow up to 4 weeks. Construction was slow but steady and manual very good. Certainly not the cheapest metal shed around but I think it might be the best.
