I have a Pondomatic Type 1649 and want to use it for vacuuming while connected to dust ports on hand tools. Can I get a hose which fits the vacuum body but does not have the curved handle which currently gets in the way?

I have small gravel in the bottom of my pond. Will your machine disturb the gravel?

My Pontec does not kick back into suction when it has emptied, is there a switch that controls this?

We recommend that you ensure there is no damage to the rubber flaps or anything blocking the flaps from closing. Which filter should I use with this vacuum Cleaner and how does it fit?

Dear SIr / Madam Thank you for your question. The instructions refer to the filter bag that came with the Pondovac. This bag can be placed on the outlet pipe and you can use the drawstring to tighten the bag down. Once you have cleaned the pond, you can then clean the bag out over a drain.
