robert william james kingett Asked:
I have a 30 foot diameter pond which has approximately 18-24ins of silt which I need to remove without damaging the lining. Will any of these machines do the job?
We Replied:
Dear Robert
Thank you for your question.
This vacuum will do the job but there might be an issue with the middle of the pond as the extensions provided will not reach and adding any more will reduce the power of the vacuum.

Brian Marsden Asked:
I have a 10ft diameter circular raised pond by 2ft 6inches deep. I have green sludge at the bottom which I would like to remove without emptying the pond. Do you think I need something as expensive as the this Oase vacuum cleaner or would a cheaper model suffice taking into account the size of my pond?
We Replied:
Dear Brian
Thank you for your question.
I have to say that this would be the best vac, but if the sludge is very fine then you will have to lose the water as well as the sludge as it will be hard to strain out the sludge from the water.
