Is the + 2500 electrical head the same as for the Ecopower 10000?

Dear Peter Thank you for your question. There is a different sized bulb in 2500 so the UV capabilities will suffer and the unit will not be as effective against algae. In the operating instructions of the 2500 electrical head unit, it says there's an indicator light (fig a) which will glow green when the bulb is working. I have looked for this indicator light and it isn't there. Has it got a switch or is the viewing lid the only way to tell if the bulb is working because nothing is glowing green looking at the viewing lid. How can I tell if the bulb is working?

Dear Steve Thank you for your question. The best way of testing this is to wait until night and look at the hosetails or the viewing lid. Does this unit include all of the electrics i.e. is it just a case of taking the old lid off and putting the new one on and plugging it in?
