The Hozelock Bioforce Revolution means that you do not have to open up the filter, take it apart and get your hands dirty when carrying out routine maintenance.
There are two outlets and one inlet, the outlets are to take water back into your pond and for waste. The switch located on the top of the filter allows you to switch between the two when you need to. When the switch is pointing to waste you just turn the winding handle and this will move the foam cubes inside, cleaning them out automatically, once the water is running clear out of the waste outlet turn the switch back to your pond.
When the winding handle is used the foam cubes contained inside will move around and the water moving past them will rinse them out, this then gets take out of the second outlet (waste outlet). After cleaning you will simply switch the divert switch back into it’s original position so the water goes back into your pond.

Questions and Answers (1)
Would this filter work well with the Hozelock 12000 pump? I know they recommend the 8000, although I want the pump to feed a waterfall which requires a flow rate of 10-12000 lph. My pond is only 11,000 litres. We Replied:
Dear Greg Thank you for your question. The recommended pump size is 8,000 litres per hour which is 4,000 litres less than the 12000 pump, I'd recommend that you install the Oase Y Distributor to redirect some of the flow around the filter to prevent damage to its seals: /Aquatics/Oase_Y_Distributor.htm.
