A fabulous way to grow herbs and vegetables ready for preparing a meal, the Medium Classic Planter can be placed near your kitchen door to create a seasonal supply of flavoursome ingredients.
Delivered as a flat-pack, the VegTrug is very simple to put together following full instructions, you'll find it very sturdy, built from timber that has been responsibly sourced. To extend the timber's life span, a food-safe preservative has been applied.
After assembly, fill the planter with compost and then everything is ready for sowing and planting. If you are in a wheelchair or have trouble bending, the VegTrug's height is ideal to pick out any weeds and harvest a succession of vegetables.
As protection against frost and to encourage early growth, fleece can cover the planter, while in the summer mesh can keep birds from sharing your well earned and very tasty harvest.
The timber can have either a natural or grey finish and accessories include bee bars to encourage pollinating insects, as well as a workbench that can be fitted onto the side of the planter.
