Description
The beautiful Meadow View blue slate garden chippings are 20mm size and is sourced from the same quarry that produces slate roof tiles, found on houses throughout the country.
However, these chippings are perfect for the garden and landscaping projects. With its intense colour and immediately recognizable texture, the slate will create a wonderfully distinctive and resilient surface for a path or drive that will contrast very tremendously well with the rest of the garden. As well as being deeply decorative, the slate will make a great mulch for any type of container and flower borders, where it will control weeds and help to retain moisture.
Available in pre-packed bags, as 50x 20kg bags on a pallet, or in a 1-tonne bulk bag, these 20mm blue slate chippings will be delivered direct to your home by Meadow View who are acknowledged market leaders in aggregates.

Delivery Information
Fast Free Delivery within Mainland England, Wales & Southern Scotland.
For our Meadowview branded gravel, chippings, stones and aggregates we offer inclusive delivery within most parts of mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland.
Extra charges will apply to areas deemed outside of the ‘mainland’ area as per our pallet delivery carrier. Unfortunately, this is not something which we control and is dictated by the delivery network. Areas that will incur a delivery surcharge include:
- Scotland Postcodes: AB, DD, EH, IV, KA, KY, KW, PA, PH
- Scottish Highlands
If you require delivery to one of these areas, in all instances please contact us today for a personalised quote.
Unfortunately, we can't deliver this range outside of the areas above. This includes; Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and any other offshore isle or island.
Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 7 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 15 ton lorry, however this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not manoeuvre these palletised items inside your home or back garden or up steps (or single step). When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. (Please note this will NOT be delivered with a Hiab lorry so it cannot be craned off into your preferred position).
