As increasing numbers of people grow plants from seed, the demand for cold frames also increases.

Manufactured by Zest to provide seeds with a warm, bright, environment, the Large Cold Frame will additionally come in handy to protect less than fully hardy plants over winter.

Acrylic glazing is both safe and has excellent light transmission. Ventilation is also important and can easily be adjusted.

The timber used by Zest is FSC certified, pressure treated and extremely durable

Any other non-mainland postcode not listed may require a bespoke delivery charge, if you're unsure as to whether that applies to you, please contact us today for a personalised quote.

Unfortunately, we cannot deliver these products to any offshore islands including Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, IOW, IOM or any other country.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 5 working days for most products and 7 working days for larger items including gazebos, but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Assembly
All Zest products are sold as self-assembly unless otherwise stated. Products may require the use of a drill and drill bits to pre-drill the screw holes before construction.

Excellent Product for Price

This cold frame was relatively easy to assemble, took 1 hour by myself. Tip 1 Download the instructions in advance of the delivery and print Tip 2 Pre drill holes for the screws as you assemble each corner Tip 3 The acrylic has protective film on both sides Tip 4 The acrylic glazing blocks are best positioned as the iinstructions not the advertised picture. Tip 5 if possible assemble in the warm of your house and carry outside.

A useful cold frame in need of some better assembly instructions

The cold frame looks as if it will do the job, though isn't high quality. The assembly would have been easier if it had been pre-drilled. The assembly instructions were poor: . They tell you to attach the ends by putting the screws through the wrong pieces. . It is unclear how the window supports are attached. . There are no instructions for putting the hinges on the lid. It is worth looking carefully at the photograph to see how the final product should look.

Good coldframe

Easy to assemble, good quality overall I am very pleased. Would have been delighted if the product had cost £10 less as I feel this is pricey. If it is still in good condition in plus ten years I may retract this criticism, so we will wait and see.
