Even though everyone complains when it rains, when you're a gardener it's best to treat rainwater as a precious resource.
As such it needs collecting and re-cycling. And one of the easiest ways of achieving this is to fit a Rainwater Kit and Downpipe.
Designed specially for Vitavia greenhouses, there's a stop end and down pipe that slot simply into the greenhouse gutter.
Rainfall can then be channeled into a water butt or similar container via a flexible pipe (not included). You'll soon discover that your plants much prefer the 'real thing' to tap water.
Two kits will be required if you want to catch water from both sides of a freestanding greenhouse.

This is a lot of money for not very much plastic. I bought this thinking there would be two of each part to enable me to hook up both downpipes to a tank. Even then I thought it was a lot of money. But you only get enough for one gutter. A couple of bits of plastic and a metal screw for £23! A rip off!
What size gutter does the Vitavia Kit fit? I have an old greenhouse with square profile guttering as illustrated in you photograph. I have tried everywhere to get a downpipe kit but they are all too big to fit my guttering.
