Halls Glass Retaining Z Clips (Pack of 20)

I'm not sure why these are called Z Clips as they are more S shaped as far as I can see. What they do, however, is not in doubt as they enable you to position one piece of glass on top of another to build the necessary wall of glass that you need for a greenhouses. These Z Clips are pre-formed so dictate the amount of overlap where the glass above overlaps in front of the one below. As water can't run uphill between the overlapping panels they also guarantee you keep dry inside the greenhouse, whatever the weather is doing outside.

As can be noted on the packaging, these clips will fit the Halls, Eden, AGL, Botanica and Juliana ranges of greenhouses. They are 14mm long x 9mm wide.

How to Fit Z Clips

Fitting Z Clips is easy. You have to put the bottom panel of glass in first and hold this in place with Spring Clips (also known as W Clips). Drop two Z Clips on top of the glass facing outwards creating the support to hold the next section of glass in your wall. Traditionally they are placed about 6-8ins in from either side though the positioning is not critical. What is important is to make sure they are all the same distance in as you build the wall otherwise they can quickly look unsightly.
