Description

These handy greenhouse blinds can be installed in under 30 seconds and will provide shade against the harsh sun.

Supplied in packs of two for added value, these blinds are easily fitted straight onto your greenhouse glass panes using the suction cups provided. They're designed to fit most standard greenhouse 24in glass panes and can be moved around as and when needed to protect your fragile plants, flowers and crops from long-term sun damage during hot weather.

At just under 2 metres in length (just over 6ft), each blind can cover a wide area, in most cases from a roof pane straight down to its adjacent bottom side panel. As they are attached by suction cups they can be used on most standard design greenhouses simply and effectively. Just check the width fits within the gap between your glazing bars.

During the colder months when blinds aren't needed, simply unhook the suction cup, roll the blind back up in seconds and they're ready to store until next spring.

Please Note: These blinds are not compatible with the Halls Supreme and Silverline models due to the curved shape of the roof, and also not compatible with the Halls Qube greenhouse models due to the unique style frame.

Great for ease of fitting and does the job. Neat and smart but suction cups tend to pop off!

Excellent Customer Service

After writing a review only a month back, we then had one of the suckers that would no longer stick. We contacted Gardensite who promptly sent us replacements in the next post. Great support and customer service. Thank you.

Excellent Blinds

Better value than many other expensive greenhouse blinds. The suckers have come away only once or twice during very hot weather over several months; I had expected them to come off more often however they remain firm. So pleased with the first pack that we bought an extra pack for more of the windows. They look much smarter than the green webbing material that always sags and looks messy.

Great product let down by suction cups

Fit our lean to perfectly but suction cups kept popping off. Used crop bolt rings and fastened the blinds onto the ring with cable ties-perfect! Used a cane thru the crop bolt ring fixed where roof meets glass ‘wall’ to thread blinds over and down vertical glass. Again perfect. We only use suction cups to then hold the ends of the blinds to the vertical glass- they do work cos not so much weight.

Simple to fit

Ordered for the first time this year, being unsure how the suction cups would function I had been hesitant to invest as I needed multiple blinds. Relative to putting up shading material they were simple to fit, the only drawback being some of the cups not fitting onto the metal of the frame, in fact the soft metal on one broke so I had to adapt a way to fit directly to the greenhouse frame. Aside from that the suction cups worked better than I expected over summer one or two fell down a couple of times, I wouldn’t want to go back to shading again though and these were cheaper than the ones I could get from the manufacturer of my greenhouse (£80 each) which couldn’t be justified. They roll up and down easily and do the job well, would be good if you could get replacement cups as a couple just wouldn’t stick at all and I am uncertain if the blinds will outlast their cups in the longer term.

Ann Scarborough Asked:

How do the suction cups attach to the blind?

We Replied:

Dear Ann Thank you for your question. The top suction caps attach to a screw on the blind, and then the bottom is with a plastic hook. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Lauren

Alison Hastilow Asked:

How are they attached at the bottom? Would they be suitable for a wooden greenhouse?

We Replied:

Dear Alison Thank you for your question. The blinds are attached directly to the glass via a suction cup on each corner. They're suitable to be placed on any horticultural or toughened glazing whether metal or wooden framed, so should be fine for most wooden greenhouses. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Andy

Cameron Maxwell Lewis Asked:

Can these blinds be cut to size as the glass panels in my greenhouse are 595mm across?

We Replied:

Dear Cameron Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, if the panes are less than 24ins, the greenhouse frame might interfere with the suction cup placement. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Lauren

We Replied:

Dear Linda Thank you for your question. The blinds are for use inside the greenhouse. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Lauren
