Description
Palram's 6' wide by 5' deep Skylight shed offers a smart and attractive storage solution for your home and gardening needs. Made from durable aluminium and polycarbonate.
Each Skylight shed is constructed with an aluminium frame that's durable and strong. The side panels are made from polycarbonate - a very tough material which Palram Canopia class as being 'virtually unbreakable', they offer impact resistant properties and are simply installed using a slide and lock system.
Both the aluminium and polycarbonate are designed to provide many years of outdoor use, even through harsh weather conditions, with 100% UV protection, anti-rust and anti-rot properties.
The roof is unique, unlike other standard sheds and, as the name suggests, these 'skylight' models allow sunlight to enter through the roof, giving a soft natural light effect inside.
With its anti-slip floor the Skylight shed range is highly durable, maintenance free and very easy to assemble.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 10 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

My Man Cave
A great little shed. Fairly straightforward to assemble by two people. It was windy the day we put it together which caused a few issues as the panels are very light and quite flimsy so it took a bit longer than expected- approximately 4 hours. Seems sturdy enough now that it is put together and should be fine to store all my home brewing equipment and my mobility scooter. I’ve added a sturdy padlock and an alarm as obviously the structure is not the most secure of buildings due to the material it’s made of. I’m hoping to get lighting and a power point put into it soon. Overall I am happy with it.

Grey plastic shed
A bit flimsy as expected but less maintenance than wood and it looks brilliant. Some of the build instuctions are a bit vague but the video was helpful. I am very pleased with the product and delivery time.

Great plastic shed
This was bought to replace our old metal shed which had seen better days! It was very easy for 2 of us to put together. It's great. The roof panels are black but when inside they let light through. I am now a shed widow!

Happy with my purchase
I was looking to replace a rotting wooden shed with something I could just build and forget. I also needed something I could build from the inside as I was putting it in a very tight space. After a lot of research I chose this one. Delivered quickly and construction was easy enough. Because I can't access the sides/back, I built the roof separately and lifted that on as a complete piece, which bolts on internally. Worked perfectly. Happy customer.

Decent Product
Delivered within two days, wall and roof panels seem flimsy but are fine when fixed in the framework. Vents could be better being semi covered, wind blows rain in had to seal one end off. Some of the frame struts were not numbered and door frame caused problems, overall instructions were good apart from the mentioned. Would recommend the shed as a product and the company for service.

Does this shed need a base underneath (eg ecobase)?
We Replied:Dear Sian Thank you for your question. The Palram range of sheds come complete with a floor, which is designed to be bolted or screwed down to a hard standing surface. We would normally recommend placing the shed on a patio, decking or concrete surface which the shed can then be bolted onto. An ecobase would also be ideal, especially if placing on a grass area, but we would still recommend anchoring the ecobase itself to the ground, and then bolting the shed to the ecobase to ensure that the shed would not be prone to moving during high winds etc. I hope that this information helps. Will condensation be a problem?
We Replied:Dear Jack Thank you for your question. Plastic sheds are vulnerable to condensation, especially on cold but sunny winter days when there is a big temperature difference between the inside and outside of the building. The majority of our Palram sheds have vents on the front and back to reduce this. We don’t recommend adding any insulation as this could add too much weight to the frame which would, in turn, invalidate the warranty.
