Description
With a depth of 12' and width of 6', this Palram Skylight Shed is the biggest in the range and offers an exceptional amount of space for storing all of your gardening and household goods.
Included with each shed are accessories that would normally cost you extra with other popular brands, however with Palram Canopia you get everything you need to provide a safe and practical storage area. This includes an anti-slip floor that makes moving items in and out very safe and easy.
The shed is constructed with an aluminium frame with galvanized steel components. The outer panels are made from polycarbonate - a highly durable, weatherproof and 'virtually unbreakable' material that can withstand harsh weather, impacts, rust, rot and harmful UV rays.
Clever roof panels allow natural light from the sun to pass through while filtering out harmful UV rays. Both the roof and side panels are easily installed via Palram Canopia's Slide and Lock system, making assembly as easy as possible.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 10 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Great shed
Great shed, no leaks (take note about where to put sealant, and don't spare it!) but ideally make sure you are building it on level ground otherwise it can affect how things line up a little, which gets harder later in the build - for example, you may find the door isnt quite square etc.. Although the shed itself cannot be built right beside a wall/house due to how the roof panels are inserted from the side, we did take the risk and built it in a separate place then used ladders underneath it (long ways) to move it into place up the side of our house. It is fairly light and easy to do with 4 of you, one person on each corner - but definitely needs the ladders along either side to support the middle section while it is being moved. At your own risk of course :-)

Good, but not as good as the Oakland range.
The Palram 12x6 shed comes well prepared in several boxes with easy to follow instructions. Each item is numbered, and there are spare screws and nuts just in case the inevitable happens! It was easy enough to put up single handed in about 5 1/2 hours, although it would be quicker & easier with 2 people as suggested. We previously bought an Oakland 1175 shed which is arguably better quality, double skinned, and easier to put together, but for the cheaper price, once built, the Palram offers a decent weatherproof storage space, despite the roof & wall panels feeling a little flimsy before it’s all bolted together. The only downside is that it can’t be built in a tight location as all of the panels slide into runners (even the roof). We were lucky the concrete base was big enough and with care, we managed to pull the shed out to fit the roof and slide it back to where we needed it, but bear in mind the additional width required when building. All-in-all a well designed and thought-out product but don’t underestimate the time and space to complete the project. Time will tell if the base is waterproof as the plastic panels overlap but sit straight on the concrete, so you’ll need to make sure any ‘fall’ goes the right way.

Fast Delivery, Ideal Shed
Shopped around for this shed size by palram and gardensite had the lowest price. I ordered on the monday and it was delivered on thursday which for such a large size shed was quicker than i thought it would be to get here. Installed with my son with no problems in about 4 hours, it did seem a little lightweight when putting it together as the polycarbonate panels are light, but once finished installing onto its metal frame, it leaves a pretty durable shed to store our household items which are cluttering the house.
