Description
This aluminium and polycarbonate Skylight shed by Palram Canopia offers a durable and long lasting storage area within its 4 foot wide by 6 foot deep structure.
Its frame is crafted from aluminium, this makes it lightweight for assembly to be simple but strong and durable enough to create a solid overall construction.
The outer panels are made from polycarbonate, this offers impact resistant properties and Palram Canopia classes them as being 'virtually unbreakable'. This gives you peace of mind that your shed is made to last. It's also ideal if you have children playing in the garden, as any impact such as a ball, will be deflected without causing damage.
All materials involved are rust free, rot resistant and have anti-peel qualities against harmful UV rays.
Unique skylight roof panels, allow sunlight to transfer through the top of your shed converting the rays to a soft natural illumination inside.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 10 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

SURPRISINGLY STURDY ... WOULD PURCHASE AGAIN!
Terrific price - particularly as we purchased at Sale price and I used the New Year code on top. Great communication when I asked for delayed delivery. Delivery prompt and friendly. We checked the parts following day dreading finding damage but needn't have worried! All fine. Even counted the bagged and labelled fittings-again- all present and Palram even included spares! What a change to find a delivery without any hiccups! The panels appeared flimsy (cue more worry)... but once erected, the shed is surprisingly sturdy and looks great. It took us around 6 hours in all ... definitely a 2 person job and don't even think about doing it with any wind. We used YouTube videos to help us when we were a bit stumped but between the picture steps and You Tube we did ok. A page of written tips and hints would maybe have saved us a bit of hassle. The worst part was around the entrance - we really struggled with that - but it all worked out. All the pre-drilled holes etc were spot on. My tips- read and re-read steps, have YouTube on standby, take care and take your time....oh and be sure to have the matt side as external face when you begin...sounds obvious and is-but we didn't.

Great Shed
I bought this shed as a replacement for a wooden one that had rotted. I chose it for its durability and the fact it was maintenance free. Delivery was speedy and efficient. It was easy to erect and I am impressed with the quality; it also looks very stylish. A great purchase.

not as easy as palram make out but a great shed
definately need two people and it is almost impossible to get someone to build the shed for you - so its a do it yourself job - okay if youre not 65 year old female with disabiities. anyway my friend helped and i just steadied the structure. its great i love it

On my allotment
This is a nice size to keep my allotment tools in over winter, and during the summer I suppose, but mainly when its raining. It looks smart and seems more durable than you may think. With no painting or anything required I think I made a good choice. The shed arrived quickly and was soon assembled with no problems.

It's designed to be installed and then bolted down to the ground (onto a concrete or slabbed base area) for added durability and strength. We Replied:Dear Raquel Thank you for your question. Sheds in the Palram range have a metal frame, the wall panels, roof and door are made from polycarbonate (a durable plastic). It's not officially classed as being 100% waterproof, however for added protection, you can seal the joints and edges of the shed panels with a silicone gel (similar to what's used around bath tubs) and this will help to stop any rain from seeping inside.
