Description
At 6ft deep and 4ft wide, Palram's Skylight Shed offers plenty of light filled storage space in a small garden. The robust aluminium frame is clad with rust resistant polycarbonate panels and fixed to a galvanised steel base. There is a very simple assembly system with components sliding into place. Maintenance free, the shed does not need painting and the panels are UV resistant.
A galvanized steel base along with an aluminium frame creates the perfect durable structure for attaching the polycarbonate panels which Palram Canopia quote as being 'virtually unbreakable'. This range is super easy to install at home due to its slide and lock panel system which lets you slide the side panels and roof into place across the frame.
With a maintenance free design, there's no need to paint the shed on a yearly basis like traditional wooden sheds and there's no risk of rusting, rot or peeling of the panels thanks to its 100% UV protected layer.
One of the unique features of this shed comes from its name, the phrase 'Skylight Shed' refers to the special roof panels that from the outside look like a normal roof, but they actually allow sunlight through to light up the inside of your shed during the daytime.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 10 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Palram pent shed .
Good shed, excellent price, delivery was good except for the fact the carrier was supposed to call to arrange a time but didn't. Which meant that they turned up and woke my wife out of bed (not good as she works nights).

Excellent product at the best price
I purchased this shed for its minimal maintenance and small foot print. There are limitations with it. Be aware that it does flex when the door is open as you are practically removing an entire wall section. I needed this type and size of door opening so not an issue as I will be bracing it against a nearby wall. Also you can't lean anything against the side panels as in a conventional shed because they may get damaged. Final note, do not try and put this up on a windy day! Even a slight wind means being extra careful with assembly. Overall, customer service and deliver was great and the shed is perfect for the reasons I need it.

Great Shed, delighted with it.
We spent a considerable amount of time looking for the right shed for our garden. Space was limited and we were drawn to this shed due to the end large door and overall positive reviews. We are certainly not disappointed. GARDENSITE communicated and delivered the shed within the expected time frame and there was the option to change delivery date to suit. Delivery company were also excellent. Considerable time is needed to build the shed but that is to be expected. Instructions are in the main clear and each piece numbered.... Its "build a shed by numbers"! We are delighted with our purchase and would recommend this product and GARDENSITE. We will certainly not hesitate to use this site again.

Very pleased shed owner. Just what i wanted.
Very pleased with the produced. My space for the shed was limited and not able to get around the shed to do any annual maintenance. This was the idea chose. The delivery was five star, arranged in one day, arriving in 5 days; Package in perfect condition. I like the skylight roof and the full width door making it easy to get larger items in and out. Going against a wall the pent roof is spot on. Had difficulty in finding what information I needed with the pent roof and door direction. Other sites were not able to give the right information. But the GardenSite had the options in the product details, which is the reason i chose the GardenSite and will come back again.

Can the door be hung at either end?

I have checked with the manufacturer Palram who have advised that the door can be positioned at the opposite end, although it can take a little longer to install as you will just need to follow the included instructions in reverse for the door section. Can this be positioned flush up against the wall or is there a overhang on the roof panel?

Unfortunately we can't measure the exact overhang at the moment due to the current covid-19 situation with limited staff and government regulations but at an estimate we would say it's around 5cm.
