Enhance your greenhouse with a roof vent for 8ft wide Halls greenhouses. This easy-to-install solution replaces a roof glass panel to boost airflow, ensuring healthier plants by preventing rot and fungus. Perfect for maintaining optimal conditions in warmer months.
If you want to add an additional opening roof vent for your 8ft wide Halls greenhouse this kit is all you need. It replaces an existing piece of 610mm x 610 mm glass in the roof. If you have long pane toughened glass in the roof you will have to buy a shorter piece of toughened glass for the section below the new vent this should measure 610 x 1018.
Adding an additional vent improves the flow of air through the greenhouse which is paramount in the summer months to stop rot and fungus on your precious crops.
Fitting them is straight forward. In essence you have to remove a panel of the existing glass (610mm x 610mm) and slide in the opening roof vent when you have screwed it together. The removed glass CANNOT be transferred into the new opening vent you will need to have a glazier cut a piece to size 610 x 559. Comprehensive installation instructions are supplied with the unit as well as a full glazing plan. Note: the opening vent is not supplied with glass.
