Will the 1.5 inch blanking cap fit a Oase filtoclear 6000?
We Replied:Dear Michael Than you for your question. From testing one of these on our shop model I can confirm that it will fit the Filtoclear 6000 but a seal ring will be required for a watertight seal. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Paul Ilsley
Wednesday 15th, July, 2015I have a plastic plumbing tank fitting with a male thread. The outside diameter of the thread is 45mm and the thread appears to have 12 threads per inch. Will any of your threaded end caps fit and can a watertight seal be made?
We Replied:Dear Steve Thank you for your question. The 40mm threaded end cap should fit. I have measured the internals and have found them to match your measurements. Whether a water tight seal is made depends on the application you will be using it for. In high pressure situations i would say there may be a leak, but in the case of it being used just to blank off an overflow this will be fine. Kind regards Dan Everton
