Very disappointed, poor performance

Pump not in stock when ordered. Was kept informed of revised delivery date and received pump on revised date. Very disappointed with performance. Description states that 'the pump is able to be powered with overcast weather, meaning it can work without the need for direct sunlight' and 'fountain is able to function through twilight hours'. Found this not to be true. Fountain works well in bright sunlight, but as soon as clouds cover the sun, performance drops significantly. Poor performance when weather is overcast, and no performance at all after 17:00, so much for operating in twilight hours! Very disappointed, have returned pump for full refund.

Good Day, Apologies but it seems Pondtec have published the wrong details on the pontec website which we were referring from. This is the text for the models with battery backup not for the pumps without battery. We will update it to the text for the 150 model which also has no battery. Kind Regards David

For fountain Bermuda Maria, solar power needed giving a metre high flow

Great pump, just experimenting with position best suited to pick up suns power, not sure how strong mounting attachments are for wall mounting, as panels quite heavy, and might not hold in strong wind, but great pump, quick delivery very well packed.
