Description

The PondoSolar range by Pontec has definitely got to be one of most practical and convenient yet effective pump sets to add a great looking fountain feature within your pond.

As it comes complete with a solar panel, the fountain does not need any electrical outlet to run. Simply setup and install the pump within your pond, then place the solar panel in a convenient area that will catch the most sunlight. With 5 metres of cable, there's plenty of manoeuvrability to ensure that you can place the solar panel in the best spot to keep the fountain running for longer. However, even when the Sun has gone down you can still run the fountain as it has a built-in battery which recharges during the day when the Sun is out.

There are four nozzle heads included which let you change the spray effect of the water coming out of the fountain, as well as an LED light which illuminates the fountain head. All of which can be controlled by the remote control, turning these features on or off as and when needed.

Great Product

We bought this to replace a new but faulty solar pond fountain (different make). This is reliable even when cloudy as there is a battery pack to give power when the sun fails. The ordering and delivery process was simple and efficient.

Just what I needed

I installed a mini pond for wild-life (yet to be colonised!) and wanted a solar powered little water feature. After research I chose the Pontec PondoSolar 250 and it is perfect. Childsplay to install and the remote control makes it completely user friendly and more than worth the extra cost on a more basic model. The service from GardenSite was exemplary with the package here the next day and all my queries fully answered. Definitely 5*s!

Fantastic product

This pump is perfect for a smaller pond. I love it. Strong and easy to hide the panel behind plants, works for 4/5 hours after a sunny day. It needs to be in full sun to charge. This a is fantastic small fountain/oxygenator for a pond. I highly recommend it.

Unable to utilise to fullest effect.

Installed and working. However, spray heads give too big a range even at lowest flow rate setting for my 18" circumference pond pot, therefore I have to use the small round jet to give a tumbling water effect.
