Description

Tradux enables a wall transition below the water surface in order to hide cables and hoses. Pumps, filters, and lights are invisibly supplied with power and hoses; forget the bothersome attempts to conceal connections that run over the edge of the pond.

Compatable with the following pipe sizes : ¾" / 19mm, 1" / 25mm, 1 ¼" / 32mm, 1 ½" 38mm, 2" 50mm.

Compatable with the following cable sizes : 3mm to 9mm (in diameter)

When installing you will be required to cut a whole measuring 6cm for the Tradux to be installed.

Functionalities at the garden pond, such as the effect of light and water, are really what make it beautiful, but you dont want to be wondering whether people can see the cable and hoses that are placed over the edge of the pond, hidden under decorative features.
With Tradux this is not the case, wall transitions for cable or hoses can be created that later will be under the water surface, where they do not disturb the view.
With the screw couplings, the wall transition can be easily mounted and it offers a secure and clean seal.

John Davison Asked:

What diameter hole do I need to drill to fit an Oase Tradux connector?

We Replied:

Dear John Thank you for your question. We've spoken with Oase and they have informed us that they would need to be 60mm. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Paul Ilsley

Chris zajac Asked:

Can the Oase Tradux connector be sited on a curved area of a plastic preformed pond?

We Replied:

Dear Chris Thank you for your question. We would recommend using the Tradux on a flat part of the pond as this will give the best seal, if used on a curve the seal won't be effective and will leak. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Paul Ilsley

Andy Lowndes Asked:

I am hoping to use this on a 10mm thick fibreglass self standing pond. Will the fitting be ok for this thickness?

We Replied:

Dear Andy Thank you for your question. The Tradux will be fine with the thickness of your pond. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Paul Ilsley

Jeff Leggett Asked:

The Tradux seems to be exactly what I am looking for, however my pond walls are brickwork backed by block work on the inside of the pond. Therefore the total thickness of the wall is about 8 inches - what is the maximum thickness that the product will work with?

We Replied:

Dear Jeff Thank you for your question. The Oase technical team have advised us that the maximum width is 30mm, the this product would not be able to be used for the application in question. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Dan Everton

Terry kunne Asked:

My freestanding fibreglass pond has a 2 half inch hole, will the Tradux be suitable?

We Replied:

Dear Terry Thank you for your question. The ideal size would be 60mm, at 63mm I would say that there should be no problems with the Tradux fitting the hole and sealing it. Kind regards Dan Everton

Quinton Asked:

I am looking to run two cables (pump and light), a return hose for a waterfall as well as an airline, how many Tradux systems would you recommend?

We Replied:

Dear Quinton Thank you for your question. Realistically you are looking at 4 units for all of these, one for each application although I cannot guarantee the airline will seal in the cable connection. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Dan Everton
