Cheap and cheerful, but does the job in removing larger debris, leaves, etc. But you will still need a fine filter to remove smaller particles if you propose to return water to the pond.
I know the hose taking water out the pond fits on top of basket, but do you need to fit a hose on the outlet to allow water back into pond or can you just sit the basket at the side of pond?
