What Is The Fountain Made From?
The two-tier fountain, the pool surround, the planters and the central plinth are made to order from durable and solid cast stone. This is reconstititued stone that is shaped with various moulds to create the differing pieces, and then are left to cure. The end result leaves a material that looks and feels just like natural quarried stone. Natural stone carving is also extremely expensive, so this method allows for the same look but at a fraction of the cost. Cast stone still matures and weathers as it ages, so overtime and depending on the conditions it can age with an antique patina by darkening the colour slightly overtime, and even growing mossy spots.
Installation Tips
With such a large fountain the practical problem that you may have before ordering is how to go about moving and putting it into place at home. With such a wide fountain base you may have concerns, but the solution is ingenious, as the base is made up of relatively small interlocking sections that are manageable to lift one by one, connecting into place. Then inside the surround sits a fibreglass circular pool. You could mortar between the interlocking joints, or leave loose. The first option probably looks better visually, but the second option means that it is very easy to relocate the fountain if you move house.
Next up is is placing the central plinth column, and then installing the two-tier fountain itself. Additionally, the three integral planters spotted around the pool surround can then be filled with compost and your favourite choice of fauna. Lastly, the pump and all the necessary fittings are included just need putting into place, and then all that is required to get it running is an electric supply for the pump to operate. Simply add water to the pool surround, and the water pump will recycle the water over and over, without the need for a mains water connection.
It is recommended that the internal fibreglass pool is properly supported underneath with either a layer of sand or old carpet, helping to prevent stones and debris indenting the fibreglass liner from below. The mains-powered water pump will need to be wired into a weatherproof outdoor outlet, or connected with a 3-pin plug to be plugged in indoors.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places, it's typically a lorry between 7.5 - 18 tonne. This will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location as a "curb-side delivery" service. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.
Once the delivery has been unloaded from off the driver's van, the customer has 10 minutes in order to unwrap and check the delivery contents for any damages before signing for and accepting a successful delivery. Any damages should be reported to the driver within this time frame, as once the driver has left, any claims for damages may not be successful.
