Description
If you're serious about growing an impressive range of plants in a greenhouse that offers a first rate frame and spacious interior, then the largest 12ft wide Classique will be your perfect greenhouse.
High ridge and eaves are features of an aluminium frame that's rust and warp free, sturdy and rigid. A marvellous place in which to work and fulfill your gardening ambitions.
Elite let you choose a powder coated finish in your preferred colour and then you can decide on whether the glazing should be horticultural, toughened or polycarbonate.
And that's only the start, there's a large selection of accessories to choose from and many modification that can be made.
There's already four roof vents and two louvres, these can be upgraded so they automatically open, extremely useful if you are ever away from home. Even though the lockable double doors are 4ft wide, a low threshold might be a good idea to make them wheelchair and wheelbarrow friendly.
Floor matting can be put in place, a fly screen, bar capping, and a rainwater collection kit to name but a few of the optional extras. You can even have crestings and a finial along the ridge of the roof.
In addition to an 8ft extruded shelf that's standard, you will no doubt find extra shelving and staging extremely useful, and there is a wide choice of sizes and types together with many other propagation and growing aids.
If you want a longer length than 20ft this is possible. A walk through partition is supplied as 20ft is the single longest length of the top ridge bar but there is no minimum length. To give a guide price for, as an example, a 34ft long Classique, then add together the buying price for an 18ft and a 16ft Classique and then get in touch for a quotation.

Option 2 > Choose Your Greenhouse Glass
We offer three different types of glazing: 3mm Horticultural Glass which is pre-selected by default, but you can upgrade to single sheet Toughened Glass between 3mm - 4mm thick or 6mm Polycarbonate Glazing here.
As Horticultural Glass is included in your frame price it is a NO COST option. The additional cost of Toughened Glass or Polycarbonate Glazing is indicated below.

with 3mm Horticultural Glass
Horticultural 3mm float glass as traditionally used in greenhouses. This is the standard minimum specification and is INCLUDED with your frame choice.
Provided in traditional panes which are supported using overlapping clips. This type of glass isn't recommended if you have children or pets around due to the more fragile nature.
with Single Sheet Toughened Glass
Toughened to British Standard Class 6206 Grade A and European Standard EN12150 for maximum light and extra safety. All toughened glass models in this range utilise full sheet glass in the roof and side walls. This makes for a much cleaner line with no build up of moss or algae where the sheets of glass would normally overlap.
The thickness of the glass varies, the long roof and side panels are 4mm thick whilst the shapes and smaller rectangles are 3mm thick.

with 6mm Polycarbonate Glazing
As well as the safety element it is a superb insulator, with the air trapped between the inner and outer skin acting as a mini double glazing unit. This will reduce winter heating costs. To aid growing polycarbonate defracts the sun's rays twice as it passes through the twinwall. This effect disperses the light far more evenly around the greenhouse. Supplied in a full sheet format and offers a more opaque appearance.
Option 3 > Do I Need a Base?
Yes - in most cases you simply do. Greenhouse frames need to lip over a base (or upstand) which also allows the door to lip under the frame. The base also gives you the required height needed inside your greenhouse. Without a base your greenhouse would be 5ins too low. Alternatively, you can build a brick base but you will need to be accurate with your measurements.
Preformed alloy base frame plinths are available in either milled silver aluminium or powder coated to match your chosen frame colour. With the use of a base plinths, optional modification is possible to create a drop door / low threshold area at the door entry, this extends the door lower down to the ground and removes the bulk of the base plinth at this area, so that there is no large step-over. This modification will require a custom quote, so please contact us in advance, or put your order through as a quotation within the checkout stage and we will get back to you with a no-obligation quote.
No Alloy Base Required
Select this option if you intend to build your own Brick Base. Please note that the number of bricks used in the base height will result in a higher step-over into the greenhouse. Overlapping cills demonstrate a need for accuracy when building a brick base.

Option 4 > Bar Capping?
Bar capping is a continuous strip glazing system used instead of glazing clips, this gives a far neater streamlined appearance and helps to stop rainwater seeping through the glass seams. It's made from PVC and is UV treated for long term weatherproofing.
Please Note: Bar capping is NOT suitable for use with horticultural glass. It is only suitable for use with single sheet toughened and polycarbonate glazing.

Crestings and Finials are available in either a standard silver milled aluminium or any of powder coated colours depending on your chosen greenhouse frame above.

Would you like an Internal Partition? This option enables you to divide your greenhouse into 2 sections. This is ideal where you wish to create areas or zones for plants with differing needs.
Available in milled silver aluminium or powder coated coloured finish, complete with integral base and double doors. You can also choose to have Bar Capping and all the glazing options are available.
If you choose an Internal Partition you will need to tick 1 of the first 3 boxes below. You then add to your initial choice by ticking any other appropriate boxes. You may have to tick up to 3 check boxes. This is a complex option so please choose carefully!

Ventilation is essential for any greenhouse no matter the size to ensure that the humidity and temperature inside provides the best growing experience for your new plants.
with Additional Roof Vent Window in SILVER
Vents in a greenhouse increase air flow and avoid excessive temperatures. It's simple to install, merely adapting one of the existing glass panels on the roof.
This is the standard milled aluminium silver version to match the same colour greenhouse frame.

The AuotVent is an automatic window-opener. It's able to open and close a roof vent within a certain celsius range to vent your greenhouse when it gets overly hot. One Ventomatic will be required per Vent.

A Louvre window lets you install an extra vent in the side of your greenhouse, aiding with ventilation.
This 5 Blade Louvre will be supplied in the standard milled aluminium silver frame colour.

When used in conjunction with an Elite Louvre window, this device can be pre-set to open the window as and when needed when the temperature reaches a certain degree.
Accessories > Staging
Elite's super strength slatted Aluminium or Power-Coated staging can be fitted to any Elite greenhouse through the use of cantilever bracing, which is attached directly onto the greenhouse framework with no visible legs, also keeping clear valuable workspace underneath.
You can have staging down one or both sides of your greenhouse, either to fully fit the sides or just to partially cover.

By adding a shelf or two to your greenhouse, you'll have added workspace areas to store small tools, pots and seedlings. Each set of shelves comes complete with the necessary braces to install them to your Elite greenhouse frame.
Shelving can be installed on both sides of your greenhouse.
Each shelf can be adjusted to any height you require and fit your greenhouse framework with the included diagonal braces.

Elite's aluminium hybrid panels come as a complete set to replace the section of glazing at the bottom of your greenhouse, offering an extremely strong, virtually unbreakable on-impact durability which is great to protect your greenhouse from being hit or knocked with the lawnmower, stones and pets.
If you have chosen standard silver aluminium for your greenhouse frame, then you will need to choose a powder-coated colour for your hybrid frames (hybrid panels are not available in plain silver). Colours available are:
Green, White, Black, Graphite, Brown, Berry, Olive, Stone, Mocha or Navy.
Please let us know your colour choice in the Notes section during checkout.
If you have chosen a powder-coated colour for your greenhouse frame, then the hybrid panels will be colour matched to that colour unless otherwise stated.
Accessories > Heating?
with Electric Palma 2KW Heater
A 2KW Electrical floor-standing heater that is ideal for smaller greenhouse where space is limited.
Using the separate digital thermostat you can set temperatures in the range of -50°C to + 99°C with an unrivalled output of 2000 W and air circulation rate of 400 m3/h. This ensures that your greenhouse is always maintained at the right level.
with Paraffin Heater Super Warm 5
Ideal as a frost heater in larger greenhouses or for more
concentrated use in a greenhouse up to 5 square metres, the
Super Warm 5 boasts a 4.5 litre capacity fuel tank which will
burn continuously for a staggering 3.5 days on one filling.
with Gas Powered 1.9KW Blue Flame Heater
The blue flame is 1.9KW and needs no electricity supply. The thermostatically controlled gas greenhouse heater comes complete with hose and regulator and is powerful enough to heat the larger range of greenhouses such as 20’ x 10’.

with Elite Standard Rainwater Kit
Each standard kit includes two downpipes (with stopper for the opposite end), offering one downpipe for each left and right side of the greenhouse. This allows rainwater to flow out of the two downpipes, and optionally be stored into two water butts (sold separately).
Purchasing two kits will give you four downpipes, one for each corner of your greenhouse, allowing rainwater to be optionally stored into four water butts (sold separately).
with Rainwater Kit to One Gutter Kit
An easy way to combine the integral gutters on your greenhouse roof to a single outlet.
This kit includes pipework that goes along the back of your greenhouse, connecting both sides of the integral roof guttering, then flowing out of one single downpipe.
This means that you will only need one water butt.
You do not require the standard rainwater kit if you opt for this version.

This compact and slim design water barrel offers a rigid moulded plastic design with a capacity of up to 100 litres (22 gallons). Made to complement the rainwater kit, this barrel ensures the collection of rainwater is a simple task, and when raised on the included stand allows for simple access to the incorporated tap.

This Elite water barrel offers a rigid moulded plastic barrel design with a capacity of up to 210 litres (46 gallons). Our standard, inclusive delivery is to the majority of mainland areas: mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland*

Delivery Timeframe

Bespoke Product Procedure
This product range is made to order on an order-by-order basis, therefore is exempt from our usual cancellation and returns policy. Any cancellations after your order has started production may not be able to be cancelled or may be subject to cancellation charges. Although a very rare occurrence, this does not affect any orders that arrive damaged or faulty, whereby our normal terms on receiving a faulty product will apply.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically a Class II, 15 tonne, 11’4” high, 30’ long and 8’6” wide lorry. This may depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.
Elite Greenhouse Information
Please Note: Some retailers offer non-genuine copies of Elite greenhouse frames or Elite frames along with non-genuine glazing, bases, powder coating, staging and accessories. When purchasing from GardenSite, you are buying 100% genuine and official Elite products including the frame, glazing and accessories. All painted frames are protectively wrapped; all bases are aluminium; all fittings are stainless steel and only high tensile bolts are used.
