This Vitoria 5000 Carport from Palram Canopia is the perfect way to add an affordable shelter to your home that's as modern and elegant as it is practical.
The four legged design offers wide and easy access whether it be to store a car, as a permanent gazebo for your garden or even as a covering for an outdoor hot tub or BBQ area.
Its frame is constructed from durable rust resistant powder coated aluminium and galvanized steel, creating a virtually maintenance-free structure.
Roof glazing is created from twin-walled polycarbonate, a 'virtually unbreakable' material that's easy to assemble by sliding into place and is capable of filtering out harmful UV rays.
A guttering system comes as standard which allows you to channel and collect rainwater into a suitable water butt or container, and your carport is able to withstand harsh weather conditions such as hail and even withstand heavy snow loads.

Good protection for my car
Great value for the price, this now protects my car from leaves falling from tall tree next to my house and I'm now not continually washing bird droppings from the roof. Relatively simple to install and strong, I've only got a small car but it looks big enough to cope with larger models.
Does this carport require planning permission? We Replied:
Dear James Thank you for your question. We don't believe it does require planning permission as it is a temporary structure and it is not at a significant height, however some councils may have their own specific guidelines which you should always check. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Nathan James DoddWednesday 04th, November, 2015
How do you fix the canopy to the ground? We Replied:
Dear David Thank you for your question. The Palram range of carport canopies come complete with anchoring brackets, which are similar to L brackets and designed to be bolted to each post and then can be bolted onto the ground to secure it. Bolts are included to fix the anchors to the posts, but they do not come with bolts to secure the anchors to the ground, as this will depend on what type of floor it's being installed onto (paving, decking, slabs etc), but can be found at most major hardware stores. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Andy.Thursday 29th, September, 2016
My drive slopes slightly, can I still have a free standing carport? We Replied:
Dear Pat Thank you for your question. It depends on what you mean by 'slightly' but the the short answer is no. Having said that, we use one of these car ports in our garden centre on ground that is not level. We have simply shaped a piece of hardwood to the same profile as the leg and bolted this to the ground. We have then screwed the upright to the wood and painted the wood the same colour as the upright. It works and looks fine and you could substitute the wood for brick or concrete for example. If the ground is not level the car port will always look awkward and it will pur unnecessary strain on the joints. I hope this helps? I have a slightly sloping tarmac drive, with drainage pipes at an unknown depth. What method could I anchor the carport into the ground? We Replied:
Dear Michael Thank you for your question. It would be hard to advise any other methods as the only safe and tested way to secure the structure is by bolting/screwing the supplied anchor feet down to a hard standing surface. Without knowing the depth of the pipes, this could be a little risky. The only thing which we could suggest is to borrow/hire a pipe locater/scanner from a DIY or builders' merchant. As for the sloping, we have a few of these carports in our garden centre (also on a ramp) and have used a block of wood or thin piece of pressure-treated wood underneath some of the legs. Firstly anchoring/bolting the wooden block to the ground and then anchoring/bolting the leg onto the wooden block. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Lauren.Tuesday 21st, January, 2020
