Churnet Valley Cottage 2 Seater Arbour
Very fast and efficient delivery, but the carrier took no notice of agreed delivery time. We agreed the previous day to accept delivery at any time after 12 noon, but the driver, in his wisdom decided to deliver it at 09.30, which caused all sorts of bother. The arbour is excellent. Materials and construction are first class. Joints could do with a little attention but I am picking at straws. I am happy with the price I paid, but it's always worth shopping around on-line. I would use this company and the manufacturer again.

Very good product but beware of sizes quoted on site
Delivery faster than expected, 4 days, but it still went missing for one day. They were supposed to ring my mobile to arrange delivery but instead sent an e-mail saying it would be delivered following day, which it was not. this resulted in me chasing seller, manufacturer and delivery agents to find it was on the way the following day. Note - sending an e-mail is not a good approach when they are supposed to ring. Us pensioners do not, like later generations, check our mail on an hourly or even daily basis. That said the product is of very good quality and being part assembled, just 6 pieces, is easy to assemble. But, a definite 2 man job as it is much heavier than many similar products. Having given a 5 star quality rating, if there was an overall rating it would be a lot lower due to there being serious errors in the given dimensions. Very annoying as I even phoned prior to order to check dimensions as I was working within a finite space. Namely the base width as I was siting it in a space between two low flower bed walls with a gap of 122cm...120cm as quoted on site should have fitted but on assembly the base width was 123cm. (This resulted in annoyingly having to restructure wall, not wanting to compromise structure of the arbour). Now the biggie...Height on site is quoted as 210cm, it is only 192cm (Out by 18cm...what tape measure are they using). Again not a huge issue but as a 6ft (183cm) man I was expecting to be able to shelter and stand at the front of the arbour, now having to adopt the cocked head approach. Other dimensions not accurate. A very good product which since assembly has stood for the last 2 weeks in some amazing storms and has not moved a cm (or 2). I don't know if this review is read by a real person but I would certainly be in interested in feed back regarding measurements or at least see them corrected.
