Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 7 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. In all cases, Mercia will contact the customer by SMS or email to grant access to Mercia's portal. The customer will then select their preferred delivery date. They will receive confirmation of the delivery date, a 48-hour reminder before delivery and a 2-hour time slot on the day of the delivery. Delivery is trackable on the portal.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Some of our products will arrive on a pallet, some will arrive fully assembled and some part assembled - please see the product description. The delivery driver will have to leave the pallet at the front of the house either on a drive or in a front garden. If you do not have either of these it would be advisable to be in when the driver arrives so that you can unload the pallet and place the product somewhere safe. Disposal of any leftover pallet and/or packaging is the customer's responsibility.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places. It's typically a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

If we want to bolt this to a flat, flag stoned base using the anchor hilti screws, would we need to purchase one of the floor kits?
We Replied:Dear Natalie Thank you for your question. The shed is perfectly fine to install onto a hard standing and flat flagstone/patio/slabbed floor area. The base of the shed frame can be anchored down with the use of the optional anchor hilti screws. You would not need one of the optional floor kits unless you wish to raise the internal height inside of the shed, which then the metal foundation kit should be used. The timber floor kit is if you plan on placing the shed onto a soft ground area such as grass, soil or gravel.
