Delivery Period

Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 7 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. In all cases, Mercia will contact the customer by SMS or email to grant access to Mercia's portal. The customer will then select their preferred delivery date. They will receive confirmation of the delivery date, a 48-hour reminder before delivery and a 2-hour time slot on the day of the delivery. Delivery is trackable on the portal.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Some of our products will arrive on a pallet, some will arrive fully assembled and some part assembled - please see the product description. The delivery driver will have to leave the pallet at the front of the house either on a drive or in a front garden. If you do not have either of these it would be advisable to be in when the driver arrives so that you can unload the pallet and place the product somewhere safe. Disposal of any leftover pallet and/or packaging is the customer's responsibility.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places. It's typically a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Lotus 6x4 pent shed

Delivered on the day I asked. Made sure I Numbered all the pieces before assembling so no confusion when starting. Deffo a two person job unless you have extra long bendy arms. Took my partner and I 7 hours to do (including tea breaks). Goes up quite easily if you followed the instructions carefully & label items up. Laid mine on 4 3x2 slabs spread out slightly, bought some waterproof membrane from Wickes, doubled that over for the floor base. Built shed, then placed on top of membrane after then drilled /bolted it down, then sealed.....job done. Looks great & sturdy. Time will tell on the quality.
