Description

The Globel 6 x 3 ft green pent metal shed is perfect for maximising space in smaller gardens. Crafted from galvanised steel for rust and rot resistance, it offers a ventilated, secure place to store your essentials. Its sleek design fits neatly against walls or fences, improving your garden's organisation and style.

The heavy-gauge steel is galvanized to ensure rot and rust resistance and has a top-class paint finish in a natural Green that will look superb in any location. Gables are ventilated so that circulating air keeps the interior fresh from damp, and entry into the shed is made easy by the door assembly that, though robust, is well balanced and glides open.

Delivery Period

Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 7 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. In all cases, Mercia will contact the customer by SMS or email to grant access to Mercia's portal. The customer will then select their preferred delivery date. They will receive confirmation of the delivery date, a 48-hour reminder before delivery and a 2-hour time slot on the day of the delivery. Delivery is trackable on the portal.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Some of our products will arrive on a pallet, some will arrive fully assembled and some part assembled - please see the product description. The delivery driver will have to leave the pallet at the front of the house either on a drive or in a front garden. If you do not have either of these it would be advisable to be in when the driver arrives so that you can unload the pallet and place the product somewhere safe. Disposal of any leftover pallet and/or packaging is the customer's responsibility.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places. It's typically a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Well designed product at a good price

I have two of these, so far. Very well designed. Sturdy and square when assembled. Be very wary of sharp edges, especially the aluminium base rails - move slowly and carefully if you need to remove gloves! Don't overtighten screws into soft aluminium base. A few minor errors in the instructions, but generally good. Took me about 6 hours per shed overall including tea breaks - about 2 minutes average per each screw or bolt!

Does this shed require a floor?

We Replied:

Dear David Thank you for your question. Sheds within the Lotus range can be installed straight onto a concrete, patio, or slabbed area without the need for any extra floor (the concrete or slabbed area will act as the sheds floor base). However they would need to be anchored down (bolted) to the ground to keep them sturdy and secure, so we always recommend the optional Anchor Hilti Screws accessory which provides you with the correct screws and drill bit to bolt down the shed to the concrete/slabbed area.
