The popular Globel 4ft x 8ft lean-to metal shed in a modern and contemporary anthracite grey colour finish, giving you plenty of storage space if you have the available room in your garden to site it.
All of the Globel shed ranges have used new intelligent design thinking which means fewer parts to assemble and therefore quicker installation times. Incorporating the heaviest gauge, hot-dipped galvanized steel in this category means this lean-to metal shed gives you lots of available and useful storage at a very competitive price.
It is finished in their brand new Anthracite Grey with a lighter painted interior to help reflect all available light.
The large single hinged door gives good access and is braced for additional strength.
The Globel range of sheds are designed to be installed and anchored onto a flat, hard surface such as a paved or concrete base. Globel offers various accessories including a metal foundation kit, timber floor kit and anchor screws which can be added to your shed below in order to make the installation of your new shed as durable as possible.

Would You Like A Floor Kit?
All Lotus Sheds are advised to be Installed on a hard standing surface base area. We offer either a metal foundation kit or a timber floor kit to aid with installation onto a stable surface. A damp proof membrane (plastic sheet material) should be placed prior to installing your shed/base to limit condensation.
Note: Only one foundation/floor kit below can be used, they are not designed to be both used together.
with Metal Foundation Kit (FK48LT)
A self-assembled framework, formed with metal battens. When installing your shed, the foundation frame is assembled first and then your shed is installed and bolted on top.
Once fully installed, concrete can be used to flood in between the interior battens to make a concrete floor inside or alternatively, timber plywood boards can be used over the top to form a wooden floor (concrete and timber not included).
with Timber Floor Kit (FL48LT)
A pressure impregnated wooden floor kit consists of pre-cut boards and battens which when assembled at home with the fixings purchased separately offers a durable base to install and bolt your shed down onto.

A set of ready to use Hilti screws to anchor your shed down into concrete or flagstone bases, fitting through pre-drilled holes in the shed's base rail. Masonry drill bit (15/64ins) supplied.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 10 - 15 working days (2 - 3 weeks) but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation Service
Our installation service is applicable to Mainland England, Wales & Southern Scotland including Glasgow and Edinburgh, but not above.
Products ordered with an installation service will first be delivered to your delivery address within the estimated timeframe stated above. Once delivery has been confirmed, the installation team shall then arrange to attend to your property in order to install the structure for you.
The current lead time for installation, following successful delivery is within 20 working days.
Note that this will lead to the product needing to be temporarily stored at your property after it has been delivered and checked over until the date the installation occurs. We recommend the product to be stored in a safe and dry place such as in a garage, shed, or similar during this interlude period.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Can I use flag stones without buying a base?

This shed range (without any of the optional floor bases) would need a hard standing surface such as concrete, slabs, patio or decking as it will need to be anchored down with the use of anchor bolts.
