Discover the durable Globel 10 x 6 ft green apex metal shed—your perfect storage ally. Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 7 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. In all cases, Mercia will contact the customer by SMS or email to grant access to Mercia's portal. The customer will then select their preferred delivery date. They will receive confirmation of the delivery date, a 48-hour reminder before delivery and a 2-hour time slot on the day of the delivery. Delivery is trackable on the portal.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Some of our products will arrive on a pallet, some will arrive fully assembled and some part assembled - please see the product description. The delivery driver will have to leave the pallet at the front of the house either on a drive or in a front garden. If you do not have either of these it would be advisable to be in when the driver arrives so that you can unload the pallet and place the product somewhere safe. Disposal of any leftover pallet and/or packaging is the customer's responsibility.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places. It's typically a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

This shed was purchased for a block of flats for bicycle storage. It looks smart. Two of the residents put it up in two half days.
Does the metal foundation kit take the place of the base rails, or do the base rails screw onto the foundation kit?
We Replied:Dear Alan Thank you for your question. The shed itself is placed on top of the anchor kit and both the shed and base rail are screwed onto it. It is then suggested that the foundation kit inside is placed onto the ground and is covered with concrete. Wednesday 11th, September, 2019Can this shed be built into a corner with high walls? If not, is it movable after construction? Does the optional wooden base go under the shed or get added after construction? Can the shed be raised up on paving slabs to overcome an uneven base? Or does it need to sit directly on the ground on a flat base?
We Replied:Dear Sarah Thank you for your questions. 1. The shed can be lifted after assembly if done carefully and with enough people to help, at least one person would be needed on each corner. 2. The Timber Floor Kit is similar to a decking kit, which the shed is installed on top of. You can install the timber floor first, move into position and then do the same for the shed which sits on top. 3. If purchasing with the timber floor kit, you could use cement or something similar underneath it to raise up the floor where the ground is uneven. You would need to ensure it is 100% level otherwise if it is slanted, when putting the shed on top, the shed's doors may not align correctly if the shed is slanting. We Replied:Dear Geoffrey Thank you for your question. If you have a concrete base area already, then this will be perfectly suitable for the shed to be installed straight onto and bolted down with the optional anchor screws. The metal foundation kit would then just be a personal preference, but not a necessity. The foundation kit and timber floor kit are more for installations on softer ground types such as gravel, grass or soil.
