Description
High and wide, the Globel 10ft x 6ft apex metal shed will provide excellent secure storage for a large number of items in an exceptionally sturdy structure.
You'll immediately notice that the steel used in its manufacture is the heaviest available for this category of shed, 0.33mm hot-dipped galvanized steel that is rot and rodent resistant.
A high-quality paint finish means that maintenance is minimal and the shed will remain in excellent condition throughout its 10-year non-perforation warranty.
To enter the shed you go through sliding doors that slide smoothly open, inside can be filled with light from an optional window or skylight, and shelving is another useful choice. Combined with ventilated gables that come as standard, the interior will be very practical for storage and other activities.
Erecting the shed shouldn't be a problem. It has a box section steel frame and fewer parts than usual. Comprehensive instructions are included but if preferred a professional installation is also offered.

Would You Like A Floor Kit?
All Lotus Sheds are advised to be Installed on a hard standing surface base area. We offer either a metal foundation kit or a timber floor kit to aid with installation onto a stable surface. A damp proof membrane (plastic sheet material) should be placed prior to installing your shed/base to limit condensation.
Note: Only one foundation/floor kit below can be used, they are not designed to be both used together.
with Metal Foundation Kit (FK106)
A self-assembled framework, formed with metal battens. When installing your shed, the foundation frame is assembled first and then your shed is installed and bolted on top.
Once fully installed, concrete can be used to flood in between the interior battens to make a concrete floor inside or alternatively, timber plywood boards can be used over the top to form a wooden floor (concrete and timber not included).
with Timber Floor Kit (FL106)
A pressure impregnated wooden floor kit consists of pre-cut boards and battens which when assembled at home with the fixings purchased separately offers a durable base to install and bolt your shed down onto.

with Anchor Hilti Screws & Drill Bit (HH106)
A set of ready to use Hilti screws to anchor your shed down into concrete or flagstone bases, fitting through pre-drilled holes in the shed's base rail. Masonry drill bit (15/64ins) supplied.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 10 - 15 working days (2 - 3 weeks) but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation Service
Our installation service is applicable to Mainland England, Wales & Southern Scotland including Glasgow and Edinburgh, but not above.
Products ordered with an installation service will first be delivered to your delivery address within the estimated timeframe stated above. Once delivery has been confirmed, the installation team shall then arrange to attend to your property in order to install the structure for you.
The current lead time for installation, following successful delivery is within 20 working days.
Note that this will lead to the product needing to be temporarily stored at your property after it has been delivered and checked over until the date the installation occurs. We recommend the product to be stored in a safe and dry place such as in a garage, shed, or similar during this interlude period.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Smart looking shed.
This shed was purchased for a block of flats for bicycle storage. It looks smart. Two of the residents put it up in two half days.

Does the metal foundation kit take the place of the base rails, or do the base rails screw onto the foundation kit?
We Replied:Dear Alan Thank you for your question. The shed itself is placed on top of the anchor kit and both the shed and base rail are screwed onto it. It is then suggested that the foundation kit inside is placed onto the ground and is covered with concrete. Can this shed be built into a corner with high walls? If not, is it movable after construction? Does the optional wooden base go under the shed or get added after construction? Can the shed be raised up on paving slabs to overcome an uneven base? Or does it need to sit directly on the ground on a flat base?
We Replied:Dear Sarah Thank you for your questions. 1. The shed can be lifted after assembly if done carefully and with enough people to help, at least one person would be needed on each corner. 2. The Timber Floor Kit is similar to a decking kit, which the shed is installed on top of. You can install the timber floor first, move into position and then do the same for the shed which sits on top. 3. If purchasing with the timber floor kit, you could use cement or something similar underneath it to raise up the floor where the ground is uneven. You would need to ensure it is 100% level otherwise if it is slanted, when putting the shed on top, the shed's doors may not align correctly if the shed is slanting. We Replied:Dear Geoffrey Thank you for your question. If you have a concrete base area already, then this will be perfectly suitable for the shed to be installed straight onto and bolted down with the optional anchor screws. The metal foundation kit would then just be a personal preference, but not a necessity. The foundation kit and timber floor kit are more for installations on softer ground types such as gravel, grass or soil.
