Description
Presenting the Mercia 6 x 4 ft overlap pent bike store, a lockable weather-resistant structure that will keep your bicycles safe and dry all year round.
Boasting a rigid construction that is made from traditional overlap cladding in the form of horizontal boards, this bike store has been built with longevity in mind. The overlap design pairs well with the sloping pent roof, both of which aid with rainwater runoff. The roof is completed with quality mineral felt for further protection against the elements.
The floor and roof are crafted using solid sheet board; a hard-wearing material that is comprised of multiple layers of tight-knitted oriented strands which is ideal for general everyday use. Further structural support can be found in the thick internal wooden framing.
This bike store is supplied with all of the necessary fittings, fixtures and easy-to-follow assembly instructions to enable a smooth and stress-free installation process. Don't forget that the store needs to be treated annually and is backed up by a 10-year anti-rot guarantee.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 7 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. In all cases, Mercia will contact the customer by SMS or email to grant access to Mercia's portal. The customer will then select their preferred delivery date. They will receive confirmation of the delivery date, a 48-hour reminder before delivery and a 2-hour time slot on the day of the delivery. Delivery is trackable on the portal.
About Mercia Products
All Mercia garden products are eco-friendly because they're crafted from timber only sourced from forests that are protected by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). This means that trees are cut down responsibly and many more are replanted in their place. Most Mercia products come with a cosmetic dip treatment, so it is advised to treat your products at least once a year with a preservative in order to protect them and validate the warranty.
About Wooden Products
All Mercia products are hand made, from wood which is a natural product. As much as the crafters try their best to get rid of splinters and rough edges, we can't guarantee that it will be 100% smooth planed. There may be slight imperfections like cracks or splits in the wood that may occur with changes in the weather, these natural characteristics are due to the wood losing moisture during warm and dry seasons, and during exposure to intense sunlight. During colder and wetter seasons the wood will uptake moisture again which will reduce these splits or cracks, This is of no detriment to the product however if you are worried about how the furniture looks cosmetically then we would recommend using a clear decking oil on the furniture but only apply this once the wood has dried out fully.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Some of our products will arrive on a pallet, some will arrive fully assembled and some part assembled - please see the product description. The delivery driver will have to leave the pallet at the front of the house either on a drive or in a front garden. If you do not have either of these it would be advisable to be in when the driver arrives so that you can unload the pallet and place the product somewhere safe. Disposal of any leftover pallet and/or packaging is the customer's responsibility.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places. It's typically a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
