Description
The Biohort Europa 8ft x 5ft size 3 metal shed is more than an ordinary garden shed, it's a space where you can achieve a lot more than just the storage of tools and equipment.
Biohort are confident enough to give the structure a 20-year guarantee since it is manufactured from high tensile hot-dipped galvanised steel that has three polyamide coatings. Essentially this should ensure that the shed remains maintenance-free for its whole lifespan. Its appearance won't be tarnished by fixtures such as threaded connections, hinges, wind hooks etc. as they are made of high-quality stainless steel.
There are many features that add to the shed's practicality. First of all the organiser system on the inside of the door, provides a good space for tools and includes 6 hooks. Inside the shed, there's a complete shelf set (2 shelves) and supporting rails, also four tool hangers for spades, hoses and any other items.
Shelving and bicycle holders are listed with an impressive selection of accessories that also includes an acrylic window kit. All the optional extras enable you to organise and personalise the shed to your own individual choice and way of working.
With the theft of expensive garden equipment and mountain bikes from garden sheds and garages reported regularly, it's good to know that there's a double locking mechanism on each door and a cylinder lock fitted as standard.
Integral gutters help protect the shed and you can collect any rainwater from the apex roof for recycling as there is a 1-inch hose connection There's also a rainwater kit as an accessory that includes two drainage pipes matched to the colour of the shed, with elbows, supports and fittings. Delivery Information
BioHort UK Delivery
All BioHort products are imported into the UK directly from the BioHort factory in Austria on a per order basis, bespoke to your selected options (ie colour finish, optional accessories). Delivery may be extended during busy times of the year or delays out of our control such as delays at customs or ports. Once your order has arrived in the UK, a delivery date will be provided by email or phone from the carrier.
The timeframe for order completion to delivery is usually within 14 - 21 working days
Delivery to mainland England, Wales and Scotland is inclusive up to and including Glasgow and Edinburgh but not above. All IV; KW; PA; PH; KY; AB; DD and most of FK postcodes along with Highlands and Islands will incur a separate delivery charge. In some cases, we can even deliver outside the mainland e.g. Channel Isles and arrange the VAT element for you. In all instances please contact us today for a personalised quote.
Cancellation Rights
This product range is imported and delivered on a per order basis, bespoke to your selected options (ie colour finish, optional accessories), meaning that if you decide to cancel the order after the item has been imported or despatched, cancellation and return delivery charges may apply.
Vehicles Access
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. The driver(s), due to health and safety regulations are not obliged to carry these items inside your home or through to a back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Good shed but be prepared!!
Delivery was quite slow but in all fairness the website did advise extended shipping times as the item comes from Austria. The quality of the product far exceeds the cheaper sheds from other manufacturers and you can really see what you are paying extra for. Receiving the delivery is not a problem although a little cumbersome but be prepared to be overwhelmed at first with the sheer amount of nuts and bolts, the sheds comes with full instructions which are easy to understand you even gen get a socket tool to help with construction but I would strongly recommend a drill with screw and socket attachments (this makes things so much easier) and also a set of screwdrivers.Give yourself plenty of time as you will need it!! What I particularly liked is that with the shed you receive a little pot of touch up paint (very useful). All in all a very happy customer.

You say that this shed is made from 'Double the Steel Plate Thickness Compared with Cheaper Products'. What is the thickness (imperial not metric please) and what is the average thickness of a cheaper product ? What does 'hot dipped' mean ? Does the guarantee cover weather damage i.e. damage from high winds (I live in a very exposed location) or just rust ?
We Replied:Dear Eddie Thank you for your question. The thickness of the sheds panels is 0.2inches as opposed to our other metal shed ranges which have a thickness of around 0.1inches. Hot dipping is a form of galvanisation in which the shed steel is coated with a layer of zinc which adds protection from weathering and rust. The guarantee is 20 years and this is against rusting through of the steel panels, or for defective or unserviceable parts caused by a manufacturing defect. Excluded from the guarantee includes but is not limited to: damage incurred due to faulty or inadequate foundations and/or corrosive materials in the surroundings, indirect or secondary damage.
