Riverbank Toad Ornament

Many of Mr Toad's adventures are chronicled in Wind In The Willows, as the wealthy owner of Toad Hall he has the money to spend on a succession of motor cars that he drives much too dangerously.

Here he is depicted in his driving goggles and overcoat, wonderfully modelled in resin with a plethora of detail, strong features and an animated pose, perhaps running to jump into his latest purchase and drive off.

He becomes contrite after recapturing Toad Hall from the weasels, realizing what a good band of friends he has and the error of his ways that had resulted in a prison sentence.

Mr Toad and all his friends are available in the Riverbank Ornament Set, they will remind adults of their childhood and could make an ideal birthday gift. Children will also love them and perhaps be encouraged to read Kenneth Graham's classic.
