Brenda Bartholomew Asked:
How easy is it for a female OAP to assemble the Wishing Well? How many bits have to be fixed?
We Replied:
Dear Brenda
Thank you for your question.
The Wishing Well is in 7 pieces including the handle. The roof is one piece of concrete, as is the base. You would not be able to assemble this yourself I'm afraid. It would require one fit young man or ideally two able bodied people.

Roy Davis Asked:
Should the wishing well be mounted on a concrete slab, flat earth or grass
We Replied:
Dear Roy
Thank you for your question.
The issue is that over time the wishing well might sink a little into soft ground due to its weight. So although it can go on grass, a concrete slab is preferable.

Pat Munson Asked:
Is the base open on the ground i.e. a circle of concrete with no base?
We Replied:
Dear Pat
Thank you for your question.
The base of the wishing well is open and we would recommend placing it on a flat surface. Many of our customers have placed the wishing well onto grass and filled with soil to use the item more as a planter. However, once filled with soil, it will be difficult to move. I hope this helps.

Graham Marsh Asked:
Does the handle turn and the bucket drop? Also what is the weight of each of the separate parts and do they either screw together, click together or do the legs and roof just stand on each other?
We Replied:
Dear Graham
Thank you for your question.
The handle turns but the bucket and roller do not, it is purely a decorative item only. Unfortunately, we do not have weights for the separate sections and due to Covid-19 cannot currently get this for you due to restrictions in the warehouse. The two side sections are slotted on top of hidden rebar poles which come out of the round well base area. The roof is then placed on top of the side sections and due to the weight, holds itself down and in place.
