Exchanging coins for wishes is a tradition that goes back many years and this stone wishing well for the garden is made by Borderstone in the UK, sure to prove a popular addition to your garden for adults and children.

At only £274.99 including home delivery within mainland UK, this stone wishing well is specially designed to be a delightful ornament for your garden.

The wishing well is made from durable and weatherproof reconstituted cast stone, and then painted in either an antique white or antique sandstone finish for the main body (choose your colour choice below), which is a weatherproof colour finish. Whichever main colour you choose, the roof will painted in a delightful and traditional red, that's in the style of shingles. Easy to assemble, this stone wishing well is easy to assemble and can either be left as it is, or look even more delightful filled with soil and a plant, or perhaps even with an LED light to illuminate it at night.

Water has always been believed to have healing qualities and to be the giver of life, a well therefore became an important if not sacred place. Somewhere to make a wish, throwing in money to obtain good luck. Coincidentally coins made from copper and silver can have a beneficial effect, neutralising harmful bacteria to keep the water drinkable.

Fast Free Delivery within Mainland England, Wales & Southern Scotland.

Delivery to Scotland is inclusive up to and including Glasgow and Edinburgh but not above. Scottish Highlands (highlands as deemed by the carrier) will incur a separate delivery charge - See full delivery options on the product page.

Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland or any other offshore island.

Delivery Period
All Borderstone products are made to order right here in the UK, on an order-by-order basis.

We aim to dispatch within 5 - 10 Working Days
Larger items including statues may take slightly longer as they are made to order. Timeframes may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.

Any cancellation of an order after your item has been crafted may incur in cancellation charges.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location as a "curb-side delivery" service. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Once the delivery has been unloaded from off the driver's van, the customer has 10 minutes in order to unwrap and check the delivery contents for any damages before signing for and accepting a successful delivery. Any damages should be reported to the driver within this time frame, as once the driver has left, any claims for damages may not be successful.

A very good quality wishing well which arrived in well protected packaging on a pallet which was offloaded onto our driveway. Quite heavy and needed assistance to move and assemble. Well worth the money and looks great in the garden.

Covid-19 Purchase

Delivery was delayed due to pandemic. However, when I contacted customer service they were forthcoming with information and offered a full refund as an alternative to the delay. I stuck with it and boy am I pleased that I did. When it arrived, it was well packed and protected. The delivery driver was extremely helpful, taking the pallet into my back garden and placing it where I wanted. The quality is excellent and assembly pretty straightforward. I knew it was heavy beforehand and I got my son to help me put it together. It looks fantastic! Highly recommended.

Dear Graham Thank you for your question. The handle turns but the bucket and roller do not, it is purely a decorative item only. Unfortunately, we do not have weights for the separate sections and due to Covid-19 cannot currently get this for you due to restrictions in the warehouse. The two side sections are slotted on top of hidden rebar poles which come out of the round well base area.
