Description

This award-winning Norlog tree seat is medium-sized, covering a tree up to 2m in circumference. Better still, it can double as a planter letting you decorate around a tree with floral as well as structural interest.

A wonderful spot to sit and admire your garden with the three integral bench seats around the edge, whilst assembly only takes a short time and is a very simple procedure requiring only very basic DIY skills. The log-style battens simply slot together, without any major DIY or tools required.

Rot resistance is guaranteed by pressure-treated timber which is supplied from managed Swedish forests and has a 10-year guarantee.

If you're looking for something a little bigger, upgrade to the large tree seat instead, suitable for trees of up to 3.4m in circumference.

Adding Plants To Your Tree Seat

*Where space permits in-between the tree and tree seats, pots can be placed internally to brighten up the area with growing flowers. Alternatively, you may use a soil liner and fill the internal area with compost and plant directly into the gap between the seats and the tree, if there is adequate space.This Norlog tree planter does not come with a base and so is designed to be placed straight around the tree.

Good product, quick delivery

I have not unpacked the item yet as the planter base I am replacing is still in flower. Delivery and packing was excellent and good value for money. The original base was for a wishing well and I have rebuilt the roof and just need the base replacing which I will do later.

Arrived very quickly and a breeze to assemble. Only gripe is a large knot on one of the seat slats.A touch bigger than i envisaged but will do the job very nicely. Overall good product and excellent service.

New planters required

We needed new planters for my two very large, 7 foot plus in their pots, Cordylines, which had become root bound in their pots. As I had them on two extra large pots on the lawn I needed something a lot larger and eye catching. Having already used these types of containers - 1 is a large surface fishpond, the other being two different sizes I put together to form a large two tiered herb garden - I decided to try this container. Easy to assemble, we reinforced the sides with exterior ply on the inside, added the black weed retarder sheeting, then put a bag of compost in the base. Stood a cordyline in each, back filled with another three bags of compost and one of grit. They look fantastic and this method was a lot easier than trying to dig two large holes in the lawn for planting into. We also like the fact that we have gained another 6 seats in the garden.

Dear Alex Maghie, Thank you for your question. Yes is the answer, the tree seat comes with 6 sides, of which 3 sides have the seats attached to them.
