A good sturdy bench, but quality control not the best
This is a nice sturdy solid garden bench and if the manufacturer had a better quality control policy I would having given it 5 stars for everything. One of the side panels on mine had a major crack and after a couple of emails back and forward I received a replacement part. I was very pleased with the delivery service provided by Gardensite, it was quick and free and the replacement part was with me within a couple of days after my complaint had been accepted. I am confident, with the correct care, this bench will last a very long time, and it really does look great.

At last - a good bench!
I bought two benches last year - both were, in my opinion, a self-assembly disaster. Also, at one time, because of a mix up over replacements I had no less than 3 of the same model at my house. Saw this one in another garden centre, but it was not in stock and the customer service I received - as the manager who dealt with me agreed - was very poor. Delighted to find the same bench from you about £30 cheaper. Not perfect - one or two marks (which will fade in time) and some (acceptable/natural) cracking but once I had mastered the metal dowels (a little loose I thought) very easy to assemble. An excellent, traditional and sturdy replacement for another bench we had for more than 30 years. Very good value.

A nice sturdy bench
Saw the Emily bench at a local garden centre,thought it to be well made and sturdy. Did not buy on that day as had other things to do. Later looked online and saw an offer for 10% off that weekend so went ahead and purchased. When delivery was made noticed box torn and that the seat section was damaged, telephoned to report, and was treated exceptionally well by Dan, and told that a replacement section would be forwarded. True enough replacement section arrived within a week. Absolutely fantastic customer service from this company.

A well made bench at the cheapest price I could find on the internet.
After searching through a number of suppliers offering the same product I found Gardensite offering this bench at by far the lowest price that I had seen. It's a well made, comfortable bench that fits nicely into a suntrap corner of our patio. It took me about 40 minutes to put it together (with the right tools). I like it, my family loves it, and our dog uses every opportunity to curl up on it when he gets the chance! This was a good buy at the right price.
