Our standard free delivery includes delivery within most Mainland England Postcodes
Our non-standard delivery service with an additional delivery charge includes delivery within the following postcodes: AB, BT, CF, DD, DG, DT6, DT7, DT8, EH, EX, FK, G, GY, JE, IM, IV, KA, KW, KY, LD, LL, ML, PA, PA1 - PA19, PH, PH1- P20, PO30 - PO41, PL, SA, SY, TA, TD, TQ, TR
Unfortunately, we can't deliver to the following locations due to carrier restrictions:
- Republic of Ireland TR21-TR25
- Isles of Scilly ZE
- Shetland Islands HS
- Outer Hebrides KW15-17
- Scotland Offshore IV41-56
- Isle of Skye KA27-28
- Isle of Arran & Isle Cumbrae PA20
- Isle of Bute PA41-78
- Scottish Offshore PH42-44
Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 7 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. In all cases, Mercia will contact the customer by SMS or email to grant access to Mercia's portal. The customer will then select their preferred delivery date. They will receive confirmation of the delivery date, a 48-hour reminder before delivery and a 2-hour time slot on the day of the delivery. Delivery is trackable on the portal.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Some of our products will arrive on a pallet, some will arrive fully assembled and some part assembled - please see the product description. The delivery driver will have to leave the pallet at the front of the house either on a drive or in a front garden. If you do not have either of these it would be advisable to be in when the driver arrives so that you can unload the pallet and place the product somewhere safe. Disposal of any leftover pallet and/or packaging is the customer's responsibility.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places. It's typically a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
