Oase FiltoClear 31000 Pressurised Pond Filter Set

With its German design, this innovative filter system makes use of biological and mechanical filtration in the form of filter foam media and ultraviolet clarification (UVC) to deliver clean and clear water back to your pond.

With your set, you'll receive a number of these foams to use inside your filter, with each colour representing a different grade of foam designed to catch differing sizes of debris from your pond. You'll receive 2 red foams for the finest of debris, 2 coarse blue foams and 1 medium graded purple foam. These foams provide excellent filtration and are easy to clean without having to dismantle your filter; simply change the direction of the 2-way valve to the waste outlet before pulling on the handle found atop the filter. This will squeeze the foams and eject the sludge through the aforementioned waste outlet.

The UVC is an integral part of this filter system. As the pond water passes by it, it will eliminate green water/algae and bacteria further increasing the clarity and cleanliness of your pond's water. You can easily replace or clean this UVC light without having to dismantle or even turn off your unit.

The outer shell of the filter is manufactured using durable plastic which amongst other things allows you to partially bury your filter so as to not spoil the aesthetic of your garden. You can further disguise the top of the filter with a specially designed FiltoCap rock cover which can be added to your order from the options below.

The returning pipe can be elevated above the ground and as the unit is a pressure filter, this will create a flow of water back to your pond, waterfall or stream. The inlet/outlet/waste outlet of the filter takes 38mm/50mm (1 1/2"/2") pipe which doesn't come supplied, however, the connections (hosetails) and fittings are supplied.
