Ista CO2 Level Indicator

Accurately measuring the CO2 level in your aquarium water is crucial because if it is too high, i.e. over 30 parts per million, the water becomes a toxic environment and your fish will struggle to get enough oxygen.

A quick and easy way to get a continual and very accurate measurement of the carbon dioxide level of your aquarium water is to use an Ista I-690 CO2 Indicator.

After filling with a specially formulated solution, it is simply fitted to the inside of the tank, and the liquid changes colour according to the CO2 level.

The indicator is supplied with a handy colour chart so that you can immediately discover whether the level is too high and if necessary take action to reduce it.
