Fluval 407 External Aquarium Filter

The result of four decades of development, this 407 External Aquarium Filter is suitable for 150 - 500 litre aquariums and features Fluval eTEC (Efficient Technology) construction

Part of the top selling canister filter range, all necessary authentic Fluval media are included and the redesigned Primer with larger easy-grip handle provides fast, effortless start-ups with just a few pumps.

New features include EZ-Lift media baskets with a new centre handle, this means access is quicker than ever without the need to empty the canister. Other improvements include a diamond polished alumina shaft, sound dampening shaft support points and a recalibrated magnet joint.

More robust and 25% quieter than its predecessors, the filter draws only 23 watts of power to achieve a flow rate of 1450 litres per hour with constant pumping and pressure generated by the powerful motor.

A unique vertical pre-filter cartridge with independent access provides more surface area and better mechanical filtration. Enlarged and re-designed rubber feet stabilizers offer superior vibration dampening and the new ergonomic Aquastop Valves ensure smooth operation.
