Description
Smoothly architectural with concave sides and ball finial, the Helsinki Stainless Steel Water Feature is a tall, slim self-contained fountain which has great presence.
The high quality steel glitters as water flows over its surface forming a truly contemporary piece lit by LEDs. Perfect to garner lots of admiring attention inside the house, perhaps the conservatory, or outside on a patio or in the garden.

Important Safety Information
This product should not be exposed to extreme weather conditions. It is recommended that the product is drained completely and covered during the winter with a suitable protection cover, or alternatively drained and placed inside a garden shed, storage box or stored indoors.
These water features, unless stated as being solar-powered, or unless otherwise stated are provided with a UK 3-pin standard plug. The plug section of the water feature kit is not weatherproof and so will need to either be plugged inside a socket inside the home, with the wire being fed out into the garden, or used in conjunction with an outdoor weatherproof socket or dribox.
For safety - the installation of outdoor weatherproof sockets and driboxes should be installed and tested by a qualified electrician.
Always disconnect the mains electricity supply whilst the equipment is being installed, repaired, cleaned, maintained and handled or while replacing light bulbs.

Helsinki water feature, elegant simple gardennfeature
Really nice looking feature. Water flows nicely around the sphere and ripples as it runs down the sides making nice patterns. The light only illuminates where the water comes out of the top so added some other lights for night and reflects some great patterns. Comes 90% assembled so easy to get up and running, just make sure base is level. I highly recommend this feature.

Does the water flow down the column as well or just around the sphere at the top?

I can confirm that the water flows out of the top of the sphere, trickling down over it and down the sides of the column back into the hidden reservoir at the base. We do have a video on this product page which shows the Helsinki on display and in use along with other water features (it's near the top right within the video) - which I hope will give you a better insight to the water flow. Very happy with product and service, quick question - however, the base retaining plate is held in place by 2 screws in diagonal corners, the other 2 corners are just holes which are there presumably to allow the water to recirculate, this looks a little odd as if there should be something in the holes. Am I missing something?
